Our vending machine came just in time for the start of the school year and we have already loaded it with books and are ready to use our beautiful machine! It looks so good in our front foyer. Please stop by anytime to see it! We sure are thankful for your generous donations and look forward to keeping you up to date on the first official use of the vending machine from the eyes of a student! As many walked in today for the first day of school, their eyes were like lasers and went straight to the machine! They are so excited!”

Books for the Art Room! Literacy in Art!
Funded Nov 30, 2021Thank you so much for supporting me and my students in my art classroom. So far since this has been funded and received, i have read over 20 books to my classes. They were so excited to see so many new titles. They have also requested that our school librarian order some of these titles, so that they can read them again and again. With this, my other goal of getting books into students hands is working quite wonderfully! I am glad that reading is becoming popular again at my school and hopefully will become a chain reaction and reading will become more popular again as time goes on. Getting a book that actually interests a child and getting that book into their hands in one of my utmost wanted goals and every little bit helps and definitely counts!”

This classroom project was brought to life by The DonorsChoose Community and 3 other donors.ARTastic Readers!
Funded Feb 10, 2021Thank you so much for investing in my students academics! I am an art teacher and I read to every class, so having a lot of books is a necessity in my classroom! By doing this donors choose, I was blessed with over 60 books to fill the shelves of my classroom. My students look forward to the reading that we do and especially the reading of new books that they haven't read before. We love diving into new adventures, especially the ones that actually pertain to the lessons that we are going to complete that day in art class. Reading and literacy is our main focus at my school, so reading to my students is helping the classroom teachers and my school in general to achieve the data that we need! Thank you again for supporting my classroom!”

Funded Jan 2, 2021thank you so much for the supplies for my students. they have already been put to use. my students have loved being able to have access to supplies, whether it be in person or virtual. Having that ability to create take home bags for my virtual students was a blessing. I went from constantly hearing that they don't have any supplies to no one complaining to about not having supplies. we were able to get some much done this year so far! and without missing much of a beat! So shwab elementary is truly greatful for having this opportunity.”
