• Bringing Music to Life Through Books!

  Thank you, thank you, thank you for all these wonderful books! These new books allow my students to listen to classical music while reading a story that goes along with it! These have been a favorite of my students. They love pressing the buttons to make the music play and seeing how it fits the story. They also enjoy acting the stories out!

  These books have helped my students to learn about new musical concepts as well. It is so nice to have such well designed books that assist me in my teaching!”

• Compassion in Music

  Thank you so much for these new materials and supplies! I used the TeachersPayTeachers gift card to get new materials for my students to have conversations about compassion in music class. We talked about how "music transforms us" into more kind, helpful, and compassionate people.

  My students enjoy our new books and love adding music to the pages. We use these books to continue the conversation about compassion. Your support, kindness, and generosity have made a lasting impact on my students that has transformed them into more compassionate people!”

• Is This Music or Math?

  Thank you so much for these new materials and resources! My students were so excited to get these items and learn new games and activities. Using the foam cubes, I created Solfa and Rhythm dice for students to practice composition. They love using these to write their own songs!

  Right now, we are about to start getting ready for our winter concert. My students love to perform for their friends and families. They are hoping to write their own songs to be performed in a concert someday!

• Musical Prizes!

  Thank you so much for donating to my project, Musical Prizes! These new prizes have been so fun for my students. They love working hard to earn prizes. My students' favorite prizes are the pop it keychains, fun pens, and slap bracelets! Having something to reward students with is a great tool for classroom management. • Music for All

  Thank you very much for your kindness and generosity in making this project happen. These materials have made it possible for music to be more easily accessible to all my students. The grips for mallets have been so good for students who struggle to hold on to the skinny mallets. My students love our new stretchy band. We have all sorts of fun doing movements and dances with it. Your support has made it so all of my students can participate in making music! Thank you again for making all this happen!”

• Whiteboards for Music!

  I could not be more grateful for these resources! My students were so excited to use brand new, clean whiteboards. We had tons of fun playing Treble Clef Battleship with our wonderful new music staff bulletin boards, pens, and erasers.

  I am especially excited to use the magnetic whiteboards for rhythm manipulatives! My students will get to experience hands-on learning that will engage them more fully!

• Resources for Teaching Music

  Thank you so much for funding this project to provide me with new music and resources to make me a better teacher! These materials have been so useful for me already! I have been going through each of them one by one to learn new teaching techniques, activities, and more. Some of the resources are books filled with music that I have been able to bring into my lessons. My students enjoy learning songs that have multiple instrument parts! We like to add lyrics and movement to the songs to make it something even greater! Thank you again for your support!”

• Music Cart!

  Wow! This cart has been so useful since the day I got it in the mail! I can load it up with things that I need to transport and wheel it away! My students can easily use this cart to bring our microphone and speaker system to their classroom for class plays and graduation ceremonies. This cart has made life so much easier! Thank you very much for making this happen, it has been a game changer for me. I've also been able to lend it out to my fellow teachers, so it is useful for our whole school! We appreciate you!”

• Seating and Storage!

  Thank you so much for providing our music classroom with a new bench that also has storage! This bench is great quality and it will last for years to come!

  We have been using this bench as the rest area in music class, where students go to refocus, rest, and relax. It is our cool down spot where students can go if they are feeling extra overwhelmed, or the spot where I send students who are not on-task.

  The extra storage is extremely nice to have. I put all our fidgets and ear phones in there so students who need them have easy access.

• Engaging Students in Music!

  Thank you so much for donating to this project! My students and I absolutely LOVE our new subscription to MusicPlay Online! This is a website that is full of songs, activities, games, and videos for music class. It is a wonderful resource that I use every day.

  My students are having a blast playing Recorder Baseball from MusicPlay Online right now. I borrowed bases from the P.E. teacher, so the students actually get to play! This game is helping reinforce note reading and proper technique on recorder, and it's fun!
