  • Circle Time With My ESE Pre-K Cuties!

    Funded Sep 23, 2019

I wanted to take a moment and thank you for believing in me and my students. The fact that you helped me provide wonderful classroom materials for my students means so much to me and my students. Our circle time routine has been Improved and is so much more engaging. The circle time chart helps my students be able to help lead circle time along side me. The story retell kits have made story time so fun and engaging. My non verbal students can even participate in story "discussions" using the retelling kits. So thank you again in supporting my class and I!”

  • Play to Learn with Special Needs Kids.

    Funded Apr 5, 2019

My students and I received our donations and eagerly opened them! What excitement it was to see my students exploring these new materials! I am so blessed and honored to have support for my classroom and my big ideas to help my students learn all they can with the time they are in my classroom. We added the farm animal matching game and puzzles to our daily center rotation and they have been very popular with my students! I can't wait to continue to add new activities throughout the rest of this year and years to come! Thank you again from the bottom of my heart for believing enough in me and my wonderful students to help get us new materials in our classroom!”

  • Special Class, Special Kids, Lots of Learning!

    Funded Mar 31, 2016

The excitement was amazing! We received our package yesterday. One of my 2 verbal students says " oh us got present!" It was awesome to see my students so eager to play and learn! We already opened a bug sorting activity that included these scoops to use. It was hard work and coordination to grab those little bugs and place them in jars with the scoops! However they loved the game! We then counted how many bugs we caught at the end of a set time! Just one game brought so much excitement, fine motor practice, and learning that my students totally enjoyed! Thank you for being a part of this and believing in my students, my class, and myself as their teacher! I can not wait to use the other games in the next few weeks! They are sitting on my desk waiting to be opened and used . "Me use it" is said often and anticipation and excitement is building! We are truly going to have a great end of the school year with fun filled learning and life skills practice! Again, thank you again I'm truly grateful for your support of my career, my class, and future students! God bless!”

  • A Special Room Set For Special Kids ... Independence is Key!

    Funded Sep 13, 2015

Thank you again for the donation to my class project. The Behavior Management system has great resources. There are these adorable signing that I raise to my class to help remind them of rules like look at me, or listening ears! The students enjoy the circle time activities it came with as well. What a great system it has turned out to be.

My students were so excited to see that huge box be delivered to out class. It was like Christmas! they all circled around me as we opened the box and looked at all the new things we will be adding to our daily routines! We are very grateful!

We hope to continue to use this system and add more systems from future projects to encourage positive behaviors, independence, and growing with my special students and future students! Thank you again to care for my students and I enough to fund this project! God Bless and best wishes.”

    With gratitude,

This is just a small token of gratitude for your generous donation to my class. The math and literacy games have made learning very fun. My students are enjoying playing with their new centers. They are learning skills such as letter identification and counting with the help of the games we received from your donation.

  • Because Good Behavior Counts!

    Funded Oct 7, 2011

This is a small token of my gratitude for your generous donation to my wonderful class! My kids are loving "shopping" in our class stores, which is filled with book marks, pencils, erasers and much more, in which you donated. My students are encouraged to behave good so they can be rewarded for their positive behaviors!

With all the budget cuts our education department faces and all the personal money I put into my classroom, this donation made a big difference in my classroom. Thank you for believing in me as a teacher and my wonderful students!

Without donors like you, thousands of classrooms in the USA would go without!

Thank You again for your support!”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Hersey
