• Kinders Loving Learning Because of Hands-on Opportunities!

  I want to thank you so much for the donations that helped me provide an incubator for my students to see chicks grow, a binding machine to bind the books my students write, and a play set that my students can learn through play. My students love seeing their books bonded, it makes them feel like they are really published! The play area has benefited so many. Not only do my students enjoy it, students from other grades come after school during the after school program and enjoy pretend playing jobs and community helpers. Thank you for helping me provide these experiences for my students!”

• Culturally Responsive Books for an Inclusive Classroom!

  I apologize for the delayed response. I had several evens impede the response. Nonetheless I want to thank you for your donations! Now more than ever I have seen the need for resources that create a nurturing environment for our kids. You have helped me provide this for my students and my students love to listen to read alouds they relate to and can use to self regulate or help their friends. They have also help create empathy in my classroom. My students are able to identify students who are in need through the experiences we have read about. Thank you for your support. It has made a difference in my teaching as well as my students interactions.”

• Soft Start To Big Success

  My students and I are incredibly thankful for the support in funding our soft start mornings. The morning routine has changed to students coming in the classroom, hanging their backpacks, flipping their attendance tags to present, and begin their morning with a soft start thanks to the building toys and gadgets we received. It is incredible to see the excitement as we come in the classroom. When it is time to clean up, students have demonstrated that their head space is ready for a jam packed day of learning! We are very thankful. Thank you again for the support, my kiddos and I truly appreciate it.”

• Building Strong Readers Through Engaging and Exciting Books in Kindergarten!

  For most children, kindergarten is the first year in their education career and for that reason it is very critical for kindergarten teachers to emphasize how amazing reading is! This is the foundation of reading and it is important that students have love for it and don't just read because they have to.

  When the boxes came in I had the whole class help unveil the awaited surprise. Students cheered and smiled as we looked through all the beautiful books. They were so excited to have a read aloud instantly!

  We are very thankful that we finally are capable of filling up the class shelf with books that the students can read all year long. My kiddos were so happy when I explained that these books would be staying in class. I am so grateful for this donation. It has provided me with the help to engage students to read and enjoy the benefits of a story.”
