Bright Learning Printer Project
Funded Aug 13, 2020This project has allowed me and my colleagues to print resources for all of our students at home during the pandemic. They have received many resources such as number lines, alphabet cards, alphabet arcs, playdough cards, number cards, ten frames, counting strips, and many more resources. This printer has allowed us to use these resources during remote lessons and during our hybrid model. These resources have proven to be an enormous support for students and parents. The printer has allowed us as teachers the opportunity to print books, games, and other materials for our kindergarten students. Your generosity and support of this project is greatly appreciated.”

Funded Aug 13, 2019I truly appreciate the donations to fund the lap desks. These lap desks are very sturdy and allow my students to have opportunities to work in various parts of the classroom. For students who like to work on the floor, they are able to sit comfortably and complete their work. These lap desks allow for movement.
The students were very excited when the boxes came in. They were intrigued as to what was delivered. Their excitement was noted and amplified as they opened the boxes. The students enjoy taking turns with the lap desks.
The lap desks are utilized in all curriculum activities. They can be used during math lessons as well as English Language Arts Lessons. The kids enjoy completing center activities and their own interest driven projects. Thank you so much for your support of this project.”

Funded Apr 17, 2019The alternative seating options for the students have helped with their attention and focus. They enjoy the wobble chairs and the beanbag chairs and they are utilized consistently throughout the day. Their ability to wiggle and move while working has increased their participation and their ability to finish work. They take turns with the stools. The beanbag chairs provide the opposite effect for students who need soft and comfortable seating. These are used during circle times. The fidget toys as well as the chair bands offer different kinds of sensory input. Thank you so very much for your support of this project!”

Funded May 10, 2019The alternative seating options for the students have continued to help with their attention and focus. They enjoy the wobble chairs and they are utilized consistently throughout the day. Their ability to wiggle and move while working has increased their participation and their ability to finish work. They take turns with the stools so the additional stools give more students the option for movement. It is amazing to see a classroom full of students' with differing needs be able to focus and work hard while using the wobble stools. Thank you so very much for your support of this project!”

This classroom project was brought to life by SONIC Drive-In and 9 other donors.Little Builders!
Funded May 26, 2018The students were so excited to receive the new materials last spring. It was towards the end of the year but they were able to spend some time creating and building with the variety of materials. Their eyes lit up when we, as a class, took turns opening the packages.
They were able to build a variety of large structures with the straw builders. They figured out how to bend and move them creating large, hut type spaces. They enjoyed the magnetic builders and built a variety of structures s well. The foam blocks and other materials allowed them to work with stability and balance. They could investigate height and how that impacted balance as well as which shaped blocks worked best as the base of a building.
The materials worked well with our project based learning activities. I look forward to sharing these materials with the new kindergarten students. I am sure that they will create some amazing structures! Thank you so much for funding this project!”
