Cleanliness Leads to Happiness!
Funded Nov 4, 2021I would like to thank our donors for the gifts. The two items the Sprocket photo printer and the Dial soap. The Sprocket photo printer helps my students learn how to access photos and print them for our projects. We need proof of experiments we do in class for our annual STEAM projects. The Sprocket photo printer was the simplest way for our class to use. The second item was the Dial hand soap, it helps us stay clean. It is nice and amazing to see there are donors who still care about education.”

Funded Nov 20, 2020I wanted to thank you donor for the supplies. The impact of receiving these items has been very useful. We use the charging station constantly, by that I mean daily. The charging station has been very helpful in keeping their laptops organized and out of the way. Also, the headsets were also a major part of equipment that has been extremely useful in my classroom for those students who needed replacements or financially needed a headset. From the bottom of my heart, I thank you A heart felt thank you!”

Socially Interacting With Peers!
Funded May 8, 2019The Surf Portable Lap Desk/Laptop Stand/Writing Tables were a great use of some flexible seating options in my classroom. My students were super excited to receive these Surf Portable Lap Desk/Laptop Stand/Writing Tables. Their faces were very expressive when I opened the items. They had seen these items in other classrooms and kept asking why we didn't have any. If I would have known The Surf Portable Lap Desk/Laptop Stand/Writing Tables would be such a hit I would have ordered more.
My students were so excited to use the Surf Portable Lap Desk/Laptop Stand/Writing Tables in many ways. The use of this flexible seating in my classroom allowed them to socially interact together during differentiated lessons. There were many ways these items were used in my classroom. Students would sometimes use the Surf Portable Lap Desk/Laptop Stand/Writing Tables by copying from the board. Another way was, the using laptops in groups. This was especially fun when they learned how to use Educational Minecraft. The items were also used for reading together, writing, and or drawing.
Since the school year is coming to an end, my next steps for the following school year is to research other ideas of what can be done with the Surf Portable Lap Desk/Laptop Stand/Writing. I also plan to continue to same strategies that I applied this year to help them work in a stress-free environment comfortably with this flexible seating by being able to still socially interacting with each other. With extreme joy.... I am so thankful to receive the Surf Portable Lap Desk/Laptop Stand/Writing Tables from all my generous donors.”

Funded Dec 17, 2018I would like to take the opportunity to thank all of my donors. It is a true pleasure that there are believers in the prospering of learning. With much gratitude we want to thank our donors for helping our class receive educational learning materials. Our Class has been blessed generously with a poster chart to display educational posters, and educational games. My students have been using the Spot the Error Math game to practice their computational skills in fun ways. They have also used the Science file and Social Studies file folder games to learn new information in different ways. This has given them extra opportunities of repetition and conversation in a differentiated manor. They have been able to practice their language development to further their learning gaps. This was accomplished in ways of small groups. These resources have assisted them with extra opportunities of speaking and being able to socialize in a fun way. The students enjoyed playing these games without realizing that they are learning while having fun at the same time.”

Wind, Rain Caused Pain...But Getting New Learning We Can Do!
Funded Oct 16, 2017I would like to take an opportunity to thank my generous donors for my class project. The gratitude my students and I have is one of pleasant smiles. I is nice to see a community cares and still comes to the help of others.
My donations came in when my classroom experienced water damage which resulted in mold and many things had to thrown out. It as exciting receiving the packages promptly when we were displaced and not in our classroom. My students have enjoyed our new posters, center activities, and job charts. For example the vocabulary game It has made our classroom a more positive atmosphere. Once again thank you very much.”

Technological Savvy Authors!
Funded Sep 28, 2016Thank you for the generous gift for our classroom. I would like to specifically thank you for your contributions of a laptop, chapter books, and tape.
Along with your donations, my students were marveled at making connections with reading the book Alice in Wonderland and transitioning to watching movie clips on the laptop.
Through your donations we're getting ready to move to phase two in our purposeful writing, typing, and publishing on the laptop for our Alice in Wonderland adventures.”

Neat and New!
Funded Jul 25, 2016September 7, 2016
Dear Donors:
Words can not express the gratitude my students and myself have using our new resources for our classroom. On Thursday and Fridays we have enrichment days and in these days my students have been able to use our "Neat and New " materials. They are so excited because these resources are fun to them almost like as fun as games. Since the resources are like games the students are learning without realizing they are learning. Learning should be fun!
The "Neat and New" materials have been beneficial for me since educational resources are costly and I have made so many from paper which don't last long. The other important benefit I have come to appreciate from the donation is the fact these resources are correlated with areas of weakness that many of my students need.
There was a specific set of learning games I requested from the donation which has: blends and digraphs, vowel teams, short vowels, final "E", prefixes and suffixes, and decoding 2 syllable words. The students really enjoy using these. These have been really helpful since I checked my DATA from i-Ready (it is a comprehensive computer program which test students and helps build their reading level) and all these games coincidental help reinforcement in their skills. Again THANK YOU very much!”

Dear Donors,
Words can't express the gratitude that we have for receiving an i-pad with keyboard case for our class. My students have benefited greatly in using the i-pad. This donation couldn't have come at a better time! This has been an exponential benefit because, we only have three old student computers in our classroom. My students have been able to learn to use a keyboard by typing. Since this generation has become very accustomed to touch screens, students are still required to take state mandated computer based testing which requires the use of a keyboard.
My students have also used the i-pad to listen to stories on-line. Find teacher sites with educational learning games, and they've also created interactive journals with specific phonics, reading, and language skills. Furthermore, they have also used the i-pad to access a website which is sponsored by our district called My-On. This website is interactive which students can read and practice reading comprehension questions from the story. The boys in my class especially love My-On, because there are stories on super heroes such as: Ninja Turtles, Batman, Superman, and etc. Two of my low students named Jaykob and Dylan have sparked an interest in reading because of this program.
With today's technological advancements moving so quickly, it would be great to have all the resources to reach every learner. This is especially true since most of our students in the school where I teach are considered low income. Here at Dr. Henry E. Perrine Academy of the Arts school where I teach, is a very diverse school couldn't thank my Donor's enough.”

Mrs. Lima
