Engaging young children in learning activities is not only important work, but is a complete privilege! Teaching my Pre-K students is both a blessing and my passion! My prekindergarten class is made up of at-risk and general education, 3 and 4 year old children. About 75% speak a language other than English at home and approximately 80% are considered low income. They are a very energetic, bright, and lovable group. I work with a enthusiastic and hard-working assistant. I feel with my 22 years of experience we make an eclectic, yet wonderful team! Not only do we work well with the kids but we support their parents on a daily basis. We strive for the success of each individual child based on their individual strengths and needs. Each day is an adventure and a learning experience for us all!
