Math centers need to be durable and engaging. The ScanNCut will make it much more feasible to prep many new activities for the students, and they will all be laminated in a durable covering. The colored paper will be used for leveled math fact flash cards as well as bright math notebook activities. These activities are hands-on and engaging for the students. They also encourage teamwork and self-assessment through correct completion. Through collaboration the students will use math vocabulary and examples to support their thinking as well as encourage each other’s ideas. The students are always begging to do centers and math notebooks, and with these materials, both spiral and current standard activities will be available to them.
