TK Tech
Funded May 10, 2021Thank you for supporting our classroom! Your donation has helped to provide a replacement light bulb for our class Smart board. With this new light bulb, we will be able to enjoy and use the Smart board for many years to come.
With the onset of the pandemic, our Smart board has become an integral part of our daily instruction. The children must sit further apart than before, and thus, some are too far back to see the pictures in smaller books, or watch the teacher as she demonstrates how to complete an assignment or project. The Smart board allows a very large projection of these types of activities, so that even the students furthest back can see everything well.
Thank you again for your generous contribution. It is because of supporters such as you that we are able to provide the items our students need for their education. You are the best!”

Tech and Treats
Funded May 4, 2021Thank you for your support of our classroom! Your donations provided an Apple Pencil, bottled water, and sweet treats! The bottled water was used every day by the students that returned to in person learning. By providing individual bottles at school, we cut down on the potential spread of germs that would have happened by using the class drinking fountain, or bringing containers from home. The candies helped to motivate the students and provide a pick-me-up when the weather was hot. The Apple Pencil is a useful tool to help with our iPad, and to help with writing projects.
Thank you again for your generous contributions. You are the best!”

Funded May 30, 2021Thank you for your help in bringing us supplies for our classroom! Your donations helped to provide items such as sweet treats, erasable markers, plastic storage bags, Lysol disinfecting wipes, and a plastic desk shield. The markers were used on a daily basis for art and drawing projects. The plastic baggies were used to package materials for distribution to the students that were learning remotely. The sweet treats were used to motivate students and provide an energy pick-me-up through the day. And, the Lysol disinfecting wipes and desk shield were used to help prevent the spread of germs for the students that were participating in in-person learning at the school site. The students were excited and grateful when the items arrived in our classroom.
We were so fortunate to have the support of donors such as you! Thank you again for your generosity!”

Help TKs Learn at Home!
Funded Apr 23, 2021Thank you for your incredible generosity towards our classroom! Thanks to your donations, each of my students were able to receive a Take-Home Learning pack from Lakeshore Learning. These learning packs contain writing journals, summer learning activity guides, math manipulatives, and language arts materials. The children love them and are very excited to have them!
This has been quite a year for them. Many of my students spent their entire year in a remote learning environment, while some of them were finally able to experience in-person learning once it became available. They are learning that they love and enjoy school. The resources you helped to provide will give them the opportunity to continue to learn over the summer while waiting for school to begin again next fall.
Thank you again for your help in bringing these learning packs to my students. You are awesome!”

Funded May 5, 2021Thank you for your help in bringing these resources to my classroom. We are winding down one of the most incredible years in my teaching history. Our TK program is the first school experience for most of my students. Starting it off in a distance learning mode was difficult, but, my students soon became accustomed to logging into Zoom every morning and participating in online lessons.
When spring arrived and Covid rates went down, we were finally able to return to in-person learning at the school site. It has been wonderful working with the children in person! The technology and treats provided in this project made it easier and more enjoyable for the children.
Thank you again for your generosity and kindness. Your donations have made the difference in helping my students go from remote to in-person learning. You are the best!”

Funded May 4, 2021Thank you for your gift of PPE, snacks, and basic supplies for my students. These consumable items need to be replenished periodically, and your financial support has allowed us to do just that.
My students were so excited when the items arrived. We opened them and began using many of them right away. The Lysol Wipes have allowed us to bring back our tricycles so the children can use them during our outside choice time. During the pandemic, this can only happen if the tricycles can be sanitized between each use.
The weather has been very warm lately, so the bottled water has been refreshing and a good way to prevent spreading germs that can happen when utilizing a communal water fountain. The dry erase markers and staples are used daily to practice writing and to keep paper packets together.
The individually packaged snacks have been a great energy boost, helping to keep the students alert and motivated to learn.
Thank you again for your generosity to my students! You are awesome!”

Funded Apr 17, 2021Thank you so much for your generous donations to my classroom! With your help, we now have a supply of paper towels, disinfecting wipes, staples, and other items to keep our classroom clean and sanitary. In addition, the bottled water and sweet treats will keep my students hydrated, awake, and alert during the school day.
With the Coronavirus being an ongoing worry for teachers, students, and families, it is so important that we are able to wipe off surfaces frequently. Lysol wipes will kill germs and bacteria, and are helping to keep us all safe as we transition to in-person learning after a year of remote learning on Zoom.
Thank you again for your kind support in this confusing, but hopeful, time. You are the best!”

I Wish Them More
Funded Mar 16, 2021Thank you so much for your gift of books to my students. The Pete the Cat book is amazing and my students LOVED it! We read it together over a Zoom online session. The students were so excited to have a new book in their hands after months of nothing but eBooks. They practiced turning the pages by the corners and learned to tell the front cover from the back, something we hadn't been able to do before.
The I Wish You More book is such a heartwarming story. The beautiful illustrations and caring language will make this story a favorite for the students.
Thank you again for your help in bringing new books to my students. With the school library closed due to the pandemic, students are craving books that they can hold in their hands. Your help has made this possible for my class!”

Funded Apr 3, 2021Thank you for your generous donations to my class! These current times require the use of technology such as tablets. The cases and charging cables you helped to provide are allowing us to keep using our tablets for online instruction, online activities via the Seesaw app, and for a variety of other online activities.
Being able to use technology has meant that my students were able to continue their education, despite the pandemic. And, they have done so well this year, despite not being able to be at school in-person.
We have 6 iPads, and were down to just 3 working cables. And, these cables were frayed and not really safe to use. Your donation of charging cables and cases has gone a long way to keeping my students safe as they engage in online learning. As well, we have a couple of extra cables to use if these also become frayed.
Thank you again for your support of my classroom. You are the best!”

Get Creative With Cricut
Funded Dec 1, 2020Thank you so much for your generous support of our classroom! Your donations have provided us with a Cricut machine and many needed accessories to use with it. With this machine, we are able to make arts and crafts materials for the students to use. We can also create materials for bulletin boards, which motivate the children to learn and always do their best work. We can continue to use this machine to create many manipulatives and learning materials, for use in subjects such as math and language arts.
Now that we are soon to be returning to in-person learning, the Cricut will help us in our new safe-distance classroom. We can label each student's items and print signage to show them which direction to walk, and where to stand so they will keep 6 feet apart.
Thank you again for the kindness you have shown to my students! You are the best!”
