My students often have had inconsistent reading and language arts instruction due to family relocation and learning English as a second language. We are also an 'overflow' school within our district, meaning that students are bused to our school when their home school is full. My 30+ students are often unable to receive academic support at home due to language barriers. Budget cuts in California have increased class size yet decreased funding for programs and materials that would enable us to meet the needs of our students. I would greatly appreciate your support of my projects!
