  • Take Care

    Funded Dec 15, 2024

Thank you so much for funding our project for warm gloves and snacks. Here in Chicago, the winters are very cold. The gloves have provided my students with protection against the frigid, cold weather. They also love showing their gloves off to the other students. The snacks have also been very much appreciated. The afternoons can get long and sometimes they just need a little boost to get through the day. Thank you for improving the quality of my students' school day. Your generosity is very much appreciated.”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Klima

Thank you so much for funding our project for The Magic Treehouse #2: The Knight Before Dawn books. My students were so excited to bring these books home and add them to their at home libraries. Giving my students books will help to encourage them to read more and to develop a love a reading which they will carry with them throughout their lives. Your generosity will have a positive impact on the education of my students and for that I am truly grateful. Thank you once again for your generous donation.”

  • Reading is Magic

    Funded Oct 4, 2024

Thank you so much for funding our project for Magic Tree House Dinosaurs Before Dark books. My students were so excited to get their very first Magic Tree House book to take home and share with their families. This series has sparked a love of reading in my students this year. When we read these books we are able to travel around the world and through time while learning about real places and events from history. Reading these books aloud to my students each day is truly my favorite part of the day. Thank you once again for your generosity! My students and I greatly appreciate it!”

Thank you so much for funding our project for a subscription to Scholastic News and Science Spin. These resources are a great supplement to our Science and Social Studies curriculums. My students were very excited when we read our first issue and really enjoyed the online activities that went along with the issue. These magazines are such a great way to expose my students to nonfiction reading and the text features that are included in them. Thank you once again for your generosity. My students and I greatly appreciated it.”

  • Supplies Needed

    Funded Jul 6, 2024

Thank you so much for funding our project for essential school supplies. I was able to give each of my student a set of colored pencil on the first day of school. They were so excited and it was such a nice way to start the new school year. Many of the students came with no supplies on that first day but because of your generosity, I was able to provide them with the necessary supplies to make sure they have a successful beginning to their school year. The glue sticks and pencils will help us to stay well stocked throughout the school year. My students and I truly appreciate the generosity of your donation.”

  • Reading is Magic

    Funded Jul 25, 2024

Thank you so much for funding our project for Magic Tree House puzzle books. We started reading the Magic Tree House series and my students absolutely love the books. They were so excited when they each got one of the puzzle books. They use these books when they have free time after eating their lunch and throughout the day. They are having so much fun solving the puzzles and getting to know more about the characters and the adventures we will be reading about as we continue to read the series. Thank you once again for your generosity. My students and I greatly appreciate it.”

  • Glow Party

    Funded Apr 19, 2024

Thank you for funding our project for materials for our Glow Party. The students absolutely loved it! They all said that it was the best day ever! It was such a great way to end our year together and the children had so much fun learning and playing together. Their favorite activities were the Glow Tic-Tac-Toe, the Ring Toss, and Flashlight Partner Reading. These are the kinds of things that they will remember, and you helped to make this possible for my students. Your kindness and generosity are so greatly appreciated. Thank you once again.”

  • Supplies Needed

    Funded Apr 8, 2024

Thank you for your generous donation of our project for school supplies. These supplies were exactly what we needed to get through the rest of the year. With all of our end of the year projects, these crayons and crayon boxes were especially helpful. It is amazing how many supplies we go through in one year. Your generosity has allowed us to keep the learning and creating going until the very end. You have truly made a difference in the education of my students. Thank you once again for your generosity.
