Music to Our Ears
Funded Mar 7, 2022Our new headphones have been fantastic! In school, these headphones allow my students to not be distracted by others while learning. They are the correct size for smaller students and have enough cushion to not irritate their ears. We love listening to stories and playing fun educational games during free time. The headphones allow them to engage in these activities without bothering neighbors sitting next to them.
We have many tests that are required to be taken with iPads. The headphones help to block noises from each iPad so students are not distracted and can work independently to their best ability.
Thank you so much for your generous donations! We have loved using them and not worrying about cheap headphones that break easily.”

Bye, Bye Desks and Hello Prism Tables!
Funded Mar 27, 2018Thank you so so so much for your wonderful heartfelt donations! The class and I are over the moon for our new tables and seating arrangements!
My class was wonderfully surprised to see the tables come into the classroom the same day that we came back from Spring Break. With the tables, the classroom feels more open and students are no longer tripping over each other and desks. Our collaboration/group work is running a lot more smoothly as well.
We are looking forward to a lot more projects, where the tables can be easily utilized instead of having to find free space on the hard floor.”

Funded Jan 22, 2018The sturdy and extra baskets ranging in size has made a wonderful difference in my classroom. Books are able to be better organized by not just genre, but by levels, reading interests, authors, and projects! They are no longer squeezed together, but nicely spaced out among several baskets ranging in size. Which allows students to truly be able to find and appreciate the books.
The students are currently working on research projects, and they are no longer searching endlessly for books that used to be hidden. They are also confident that the baskets will not snap or break while moving them from shelves to carpet and back!
My class and I thank each and everyone of you for your amazing support in our project!!!”

Let's Get Our Wiggles Out While Still Learning!
Funded Oct 11, 2017Thank you so much for your donations with Let's Get Our Wiggles Out While Still Learning!!! The students were so excited to start using the new tools.
The stability balls and chair loungers are assigned to students one day a week to use! We use them during independent reading and writing time. We are working towards using them during our independent math time too!
The fidget chair and desk bands have also came in handy for a couple of friends that need just a little extra to keep them focused! I have definitely learned that one type isn't always best for everyone! We now know that both the chair and desk band are great tools with some student preference! :-)”

An Array of Mathematical Hands-On Exploration!
Funded Mar 29, 2017Thank you so much for the generous donations to our classroom project. My class was so excited the day that our project was funded. I'm pretty sure the whole upstairs hallway could hear us cheering! :)
Since we have received the materials, we have already used the fraction strips and base ten blocks with our curriculum. This has really helped with my hands-on visual learners.
As we are nearing towards the end of a wonderful school year, my next steps will be to prepare these materials for next year. My goal is to have these materials easily accessible to students at all times. Students will be able to get what they need to help support their learning during any math lesson. I truly believe, these materials will make a huge impact on individual learning and self confidence with mathematics.”

Funded Jul 20, 2016Dear Donors,
Thank you so much for the amazing generosity of helping to fund the Multiplication and Division Resource Project!!! My students use them through the week. The wrap-ups are used during math centers, basic facts practice and sometimes while standing in line for a restroom break. As of right now, we are only focusing on multiplication facts, but they can't wait to start the division wrap-ups!!!
The first time the students saw the wrap-ups, at first they looked a little confused. It was so cute, how their faces changed from confusion to excitement as I demonstrated how the multiplication wrap-ups worked. They couldn't wait until they could go to math centers and listen to the cd with the wraps on their own! These resources have made such a difference in the enthusiasm of basic facts learning.”
