Lights, Manipulatives, Learning
Funded Oct 27, 2022Thank you for your kindness in supporting our project! My students have loved using the manipulatives for our light table. We have used it as a center for center time when students can be creative and come up with their own ideas.
Many have enjoyed using the sorting trays and ten frames to work in math. We also have used our letters to build our high frequency words. The building pieces have been a huge hit as my class loves to create and build things the think up on their own.
I hope you know how appreciated your kindness and giving are. You help make our learning more exciting and meaningful. Thanks again!”

Building Tiles to Create Future Builders
Funded Sep 16, 2020My students have loved using the magnetic tiles to show their creativity and demonstrate their use of their imaginations. They were so excited when our package arrived and we opened it together. It has been very rewarding to watch them plan and design different projects. They have built many structures and used these during center times to collaborate with partners.
The magnetic pieces are easily moved and rearranged to make a number of patterns, designs, and structures. They are well made and have been able to be used with multiple classes. These materials have been particularly valuable during Covid because they are easily cleaned and sanitized. We have been able to set them out and use them nearly every day. We are currently learning about shapes and these are great to be use to show how multiple shapes can be put together to build others.
It has been rewarding to see their excitement. I can't count the number of times I have had my kindergarten students come up to excitedly ask me to come view their newest creations. I have seen homes built, cakes decorated, and cities designed. Thanks again to all who have donated to our class!”
With gratitude,
Mrs. Russell
