• Seat Storage Sacks for Social Distancing

  I am so excited for these seat covers! The student will have a place to put their most frequently used items. In Kindergarten, we always had tables and student shared supplies from a common supply bin, usually in the middle of the table. Now, with all the new Covid-19 rules, sharing is no longer allowed. We needed to get desks and each student will have their own supplies. The seat sacks are so helpful! They will be able to store their most frequently used items right behind them. I am so grateful for all the generous donations that helped this project get funded!”

• STEM Kits for Kindergartners

  Thank you so much for donating to my project. The STEM kits for my kindergartners was a hit! The children loved them and were so excited to receive the gifts!

  The STEM kits were a welcome break from the computer screen, while still being educational. The parents were also very thankful because the children had a new "toy" to keep them occupied. Our school had many themed weeks, one of which was a Science Week. The students were able to build one of the activities and share it with the class virtually. There was a lot of excitement and smiles!

• Looking for iPads to iLearn

  My students are so excited about the iPads! When I showed them the iPad center, they cheered! They all started to speak at once and were talking to each other to see what they will be able to play and do on it! Little did they know, that the apps on it were going to be educational!

  I requested iPads because the students love spending time on them - they are on electronics a lot! I want to use this to my advantage. I downloaded educational apps - some apps help students with concepts that they are struggling with in reading or math. Other apps I use to help students move to the next level, so that they are being challenged and can further develop their critical thinking skills.

  I am grateful to all the donors that helped fund my project. My students are always happy when they get to use them everyday. I am happy that they have technology at their disposal to be used in a productive way!”

• iPads In The Classroom To 'iLearn"

  I would like to thank all of the donors for your generosity! It means so much that people will donate to help children in the classrooms. Once the children saw the iPads, they were so excited. They immediately began pointing and talking about the iPads. They began wondering what they were for and when, if,they would be able to use them. Once I told them that they were for the classrooms and that the students will be able to use them, a big "Yay" erupted in the classroom. They all began wondering when, how...and then I explained that they are for literacy centers and math centers.

  The students use the iPads daily during literacy centers on a rotating basis. I am able to have the students use apps to target areas that the student needs help in - like to review letters for some students or sight words for other students. I am also able to have students read online through a website that our school subscribes too- which otherwise the students will never go on and do at home. I also use the iPads during math time - to help students review addition and subtraction concepts, something we are working on currently.

  The iPads are a wonderful addition to my class. The students are always excited to use the iPads, to see which app they get to use. I am very grateful for your donations and the students are making good use of the iPads!”

• In Need Of An Overhead Projector

• A Science Experiment

My kindergarteners are curious little students and now they will be able to explore with the science centers. I can't wait for the students to get the new puzzles.
