Help build a love of reading for Kindergarten students! We are a second classroom that was newly added this year in an urban public school. My classroom has to share most materials with the existing classroom and often have to shift lesson plans around to accommodate materials. When students ask for specific materials or books, I often have to borrow from other classrooms and have to make them wait until I locate the requested materials. I would like to make my classroom more child friendly, organized and help students take ownership and responsibility for their learning. With these materials, students will have daily access to most of the books in our lending library and make independent decisions on how to practice various reading skills.
