Our middle school serves 5th and 6th grades in Northwest Arkansas. Our school services over 600 5th and 6th grade students in art classes each week. And while most might think our district and school are well-off - our budgets are not very big, so we cannot get certain supplies for students to experience hands-on art-making and problem solving like we could.
We have a diverse population of students. They are kind, compassionate students who are eager to learn new things and to give back to their school and community. These supplies and items would allow our students an opportunity to create, to problem solve, to think critically, and to be well-rounded art appreciators for the 21st century. Thank you for supporting the visual arts!
