These math learning stations will build a community of learners so that students will be able to work independently at centers while I work one to one with other students. The math learning stations will provide meaningful, independent practice based on the Common Core standards and on students' needs. The variety of activities will differentiate to meet the diverse needs of students as well as hold the students accountable for the work in which they are engaged. The hands-on aspect of the math activities will keep the students engaged, while having fun at the same time. I will be able to assess my students' math skills, strategies, and understanding of a variety of math concepts.
