Flexible Seating for Creative Minds!
Funded Jul 13, 2021When students first saw our flexible seating, they were so excited! Traditional seats can be so confining and uncomfortable. Kiddos were happy to know that they'd get to learn while feeling more relaxed. Physically wiggling and wobbling can help clear minds to allow more focus for academics.
Students are enjoying their new seating choices. We now have a high-top table with wobble stools where kiddos can release some extra energy while still completing classwork. Students can also sit at a low table on sensory discs. Still, a preferred option is our new stability balls. Students are thoroughly enjoying the flexibility of choosing a seat that works best for their unique needs and preferences.
Our flexible seating is popular during group work, independent learning, and even recess time. My students are more comfortable because of your generosity. Thank you so very much for supporting our class!”

STEM-tastic Stations
Funded Sep 14, 2016Thank you so very much for giving to our classroom. My students LOVE our new resources. Their jaws dropped when I started opening the math puzzles, explaining that a very kind person, that they don't even know, donated to our classroom because they want to see us do great things this year.
Our new resources are helping to solidify several math concepts. Students are being able to have fun while they become more proficient in addition and subtraction. Completing these puzzles has become a favorite competition in our room.
Students have been, and will continue to use these new resources to excel in math. We have agreed that we can already see the benefits students have had from working with these puzzles during small group instruction. My students are excited to learn, and I am excited to teach them. For your help in that, I am truly thankful!”

Listening Stations Fit for the 21st Century!
Funded Jul 3, 2016Dear Donors,
We are so very thankful for the generosity you shared with us. My students are now able to choose a story that interests them and use the CD to listen to it. Listening to stories being read aloud helps students develop fluency in their own reading. In no time at all, I know that my students will be fluently reading stories so that they can speak to read as naturally as they speak to converse.
My kids are so incredibly excited to look through our new listening sets to pick out their story for the day. They love that they don't have to use the old torn books with cassette tapes any more. Instead, my kids anxiously wait until they get to go back to the listening station again!
I appreciate your help in transforming my kids into awesome readers, and I sincerely thank you for being a part of creating the next generation of readers.”
With gratitude,

Funded Jun 7, 2016Dearest Donors,
Thank you so very much for donating to our classroom! My students and I have already enjoyed using our new resources. Everyday, students take turns picking out a different story to listen to with our fabulous new book and CD sets. The "listening station" is so popular that students can't wait until it's their turn to go again.
My students were so amazed that people they didn't even know were willing to share money so that they could enjoy new resources. Their jaws literally dropped when I shared the great news with them. We are truly so grateful to you.
My kiddos are excited to become stronger readers, and I know these listening sets will help them to do just that. They will be able to practice reading much more fluently. I sincerely thank you for helping us work toward our reading goals!”

Funded Aug 22, 2015My students and I are so excited about our new rug! We use it every single day. It has truly become the focal point of our classroom. Our beautiful rug is where we gather for morning meeting, hold shared readings, and begin math lessons. The rug is used as a location for small group stations and has also become a favorite place for students to read their books independently.
We were thrilled when our colorful rug arrived, and I continue to be thankful of your support each and every day. My students could not wait for me to unwrap the giant cardboard tube, and that excitement has not gone away. The rug became an immediate fixture in our room. My kids can't wait to gather on it.
My kids and I are so very thankful for your donation to our room. We have truly been blessed with all of the generosity!”
