  • Bins to the Rescue!

    Funded Dec 23, 2024

The bins are great because we were able to organize our grade level activities in color bins. We also used them to organize our cabinet space with the materials we need for our classes.

The students were grateful to have the bins to help me organize the materials and make our space more efficient.

As a teacher I am always trying to find ways to organize information for the 300 students I teach. Often students are excited to use the materials and know we have a special place for them thanks to the donors.”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. White

  • K0-1st Grade Production of the "Little Red Hen" the musical!

    Funded Dec 13, 2024

I am so excited about this production. The 1st graders who were my kindergarten class last year get to play the main role on the stage. What a thrill this is for them. Last year they were the chorus and could not wait to be on the big stage. The play is April 29th and they are excited and ready for their families to see all they have learned. The Costumes and the set are all put together and waiting for the students to do an amazing job. Our practices have been in full costume and all the students are over joyed.”

  • It's A Jungle Out There! IN THE JUNGLE THE MUSICAL

    Funded Dec 5, 2024

Our amazing 2nd and 3rd graders are so grateful for the costumes for their upcoming play In the "Jungle the Musical". The students have tried costumes on and have been able to practice in full costume. The set products are amazing and will greatly inhance the set for this play.

When I first showed the students the costumes they were so excited and could not wait to try them on. On students said "The costumes make the character in me come to life, I cant wait for the play".

The next step for this project is to design the set and stage the play. Each class period we practice the scenes and work on set design for the staging of the play.

The play is set to take stage on April 11th and the students cant wait.”

  • Production “In the Jungle” Play Time and Snacks Oh My!

    Funded Aug 27, 2024

As we prepare for our April production of in the Jungle it has been great to have snacks for our long rehearsals. Our students have enjoyed getting a snack break in between the many songs and dances they have been learning for our production.

The students come to my class two days a week for 1 hour. We sing and dance for one class and read through script work for the other class. Your snacks have been a great help to motivate students.

We are now blocking the production and putting all the set pieces together.”

  • The Spring Production of "The Lion King

    Funded Mar 27, 2024

Our students put on a full 2 night production of the Lion King thanks to you r support with costumes and snacks to keep them nourished. When I showed the students all the amazing donations they were so happy to be prepared to put on their production.

The costumes made the students feel more connected to the characters as they helped them come alive. The decorations allowed them to transform their space into a jungle in the Sahara.

The final step was the production which included 3rd-6th grade students. This production was absolutely spectacular. I found that the students really learned a lot about performance and more.

It is because of your support we were able to deliver such an amazing production.”

  • Fruit Snacks and Pringles Packs, Yum!

    Funded Jan 31, 2024

We used the snack for our production of the Lion King. The students greatly appreciated the yummy snacks during practice and protection.

Long practice times call for a yummy snack or two or three and because of your generous donations we were able to support two classes of grades 3-6.

Healthy Eating Habits: Regular snack times expose children to nutritious foods, encouraging healthier eating habits. This exposure helps children recognize the importance of balanced nutrition and instills a habit of making healthier food choices.”

  • "Baby Its Cold Outside"

    Funded Jan 19, 2024

Wow, I am so greatful to have the opportunity to supply all the students in need at our school with hats, gloves, neck warmers and ear muffs.

As a students, I use to walk to school and not have hat and gloves. I never wanted our students to feel that. This project insured that every student in need received.

I had students coming up to me smiling and thanking me for keeping them warm. I also had an entire class co-construct a letter thanking me for giving them hats and gloves.

One sixth grader, came to me outside one morning and said, "man I am so glad you gave me these ear-muff and gloves it is freezing out here."

    Thank you for your support.”

  • Organized Theater Supplies

    Funded Dec 4, 2023

I would like to say thank you for supporting my efforts to organize the 13 classes I teach each week.

I used the various bins to organize everything form prizes to student work. I am so greatful for your kindness.

When I am organized, it allows me to be more organized for my students. This allows my students to work in an organized space and place. As a Theater teacher I have so much to keep up with during production time and having materials to stay organized is very important. When students ask for something I know just where to find it.”

  • Testing, Testing, One, Two, Three!

    Funded Nov 29, 2023

We are so greatful for this awesome contribution of speakers so our students can be heard during our many productions. We had a Winter production that was amazing because the students could be heard and the parents and teachers were so happy.

One student said that "this was the best show they were ever a part of and was so glad we had speakers because her mom and dad could hear her loud and clear."

During class I use the microphone and speakers to help the students hear their own voices. This helps with voice projection. Even my shyest students are getting involved with speaking rolls.”
