Reading for Fun!
Funded Jan 26, 2024I wanted to take a moment to express my heartfelt gratitude for your generous support of our recent project. Your donation made it possible for us to acquire paperback copies of the beloved classic, "Stuart Little," as well as a comprehensive teacher manual.
The impact of these materials on my 3rd grade students has been nothing short of remarkable. Here are some specific ways in which the materials have enriched our learning environment:
The teacher manual has been an invaluable resource. It provides thought-provoking discussion questions, creative activities, and extension ideas.
I organized a "Stuart Little" book club, where students and teachers read the book together. It has become a bonding experience, fostering a sense of community and shared excitement. Students eagerly discuss their favorite parts and eagerly await the next chapter.
In summary, your contribution has had a profound impact on my students' literacy skills, creativity, and sense of belonging. We are immensely grateful for your belief in our mission and your commitment to empowering young minds.”

Ready, Set, Teach Third
Funded Aug 5, 2014Thank you for your generosity
The materials will be used with great care. The classroom resources will be utilized all year long. I plan to display the resources through out the room
So students will have access to them while learning and during instructional time.
The resources will also enrich my instructional delivery as I will be able to use them as visual aids. I believe that students need to learn in a print rich environment. Some students need visual aids to enhance retention that's why I want to provide my students with a learning conducive classroom
Full of learning resources.
Thanks again”

AR Books
Funded Apr 3, 2014Dear Donors
The new AR books were a hit! I was able to purchase about 20 AR books. I bought books ranging from 0.5 to 2.3 level.
Choosing books from such a range will allow current students as well as next school year students to benefit from these great books.
I did not tell the students that the library had new AR books, but they quickly found the new books and were eager to begin reading and to take the corresponding AR Test.
My ESOL and ESE students also benefited because the lower level books were easy for them to read and comprehend.
Thank you again for helping me build our classroom library.”
With gratitude,
Mrs. Velazquez
