My classroom is home to 26, 2nd graders that share two classroom computers. During our center time rotations, having only two computers only allows 2 students at one time to engage with our online programs. With the addition of two Chromebooks in my classroom more students will gain individualized technology time. Technology is the way of the future for all age groups. Additional Chromebooks in my classroom will only enrich the learning of all my students. This will also give the student who may not have technology at home an opportunity to explore this current trend in education.
