Owl Pellet Investigators
Funded Nov 29, 2022Thank you from the bottom of my teacher's heart for supporting hands-on life science for my fourth grade students!
After we received the donated materials, the students in my class were thrilled to learn that we would be dissecting owl pellets to further our study of food webs. The first day of our owl pellet dissection was filled with excited learning and scientific joy! Students were amazed that they were actually dissecting real owl pellets, and the learning that took place will stay with them forever.
Your kindness and generosity is deeply appreciated by my fourth grade scientists and their grateful teacher!”

Funded Apr 22, 2019"I do believe something magical can happen when you read a good book." - J.K. Rowling
Wow! My students were thrilled to receive the books you purchased for our class.
We immediately began reading Jeremy Thatcher, Dragon Hatcher together. The magic of fantasy reading came alive in our class. After every chapter, my class begged to read more!
Many of my students loved the book so much they checked out another book in the series when we visited the library.
Thanks to your generous contribution, I look forward to reading Jeremy Thatcher, Dragon Hatcher with my fourth grade students for many years. Thank you for supporting the magic of reading!”

Help Create "Wonder" For My Wonderful Students
Funded Oct 9, 2015Thank you for your generous donation to our class. My students were very excited to receive the book "Wonder" by R.J. Palacio. We have already devoured the book!
"Wonder" created the opportunity for my students to read about a character that struggles with being treated differently. We shared many discussions about important themes such as empathy, isolation, and moral courage. The shared experience of reading the book together has allowed for a classroom environment of tolerance and consideration.
Your contribution to our classroom reading program is greatly appreciated!”

Funded Sep 10, 2015Thank you for your generous contribution to our class. Your contribution to our project resulted in my sharp students becoming even "sharper"!
When our project was funded, I shared with my students that we would be getting a new pencil sharpener because of generous donors like yourself. We were especially excited because our cheap pencil sharpener that I purchased during the summer broke within two days. It froze on the second day of school! I explained to the students that our new pencil sharpener was an industrial model that wouldn't fail us.
On the day that our new pencil sharpener arrived, my students eagerly lined up to try it out. It may seem silly, but every student was extremely excited to sharpen their pencils. They had fistfuls of pencils ready to sharpen, and were thrilled to when the pencil sharpener did not freeze and stop working. Thanks to your kindness, our class has been able to enjoy working and learning with sharp pencils. Never underestimate the power of a sharp pencil!”

Electrical Engineers in Training
Funded Dec 24, 2011Words cannot express my gratitude for your support of our science unit on electricity. The materials you provided have been used by my students to create circuits and gain a hands-on experience with difficult science content standards.
Our school is currently experience a budget shortfall, and without your support my students would have never had these engaging resources. Learning about electricity with the hands-on materials you provided allowed my students to gain real-world knowledge of physical science concepts.
Without donors like you, thousands of classrooms in the United States would go without.”

Funded Jan 1, 2012Wow! Your generosity and support for my students is greatly appreciated. The materials you have funded will provide meaningful scientific experience with magnetic principles.
Our science unit on magnetism and electricity will begin immediately following our winter break. The materials you have funded will allow my students to experience hands-on practice with magnets and electromagnets. Reading a text book about magnetism does not compare to actually seeing and manipulating the materials.
Thank you again to your generous donation to our classroom unit on magnets and electricity. I can't wait to use with my students, and I can assure you they will be excited and enriched by your kindness.”

Funded Jan 7, 2011I can't fully express my joy, excitement, and appreciation for your donation to my project. In science, it is critical that we provide students with models and hands-on activities to facilitate a deeper understand of complex ideas.
The tools that you have funded have enabled my students to gain environmental life science knowledge that is difficult to understand without concrete experience. Thanks to you my students have had the opportunity to master and internalize critical environmental science knowledge. My hope is that they will carry the newly acquired information to create a greener future for our world.
Thank you so much! ”

Funded Sep 16, 2009Thank you for your generous donation of electricity materials to our classroom. My students and I have thouroghly enjoyed exploring electricity with the aid of the hands-on supplies your company have provided.
After I was notified of your support to our classroom, I shared with my students that we would be receiving donated materials to help us with our upcoming electricity unit of instruction. They hounded me everyday asking if the materials had arrived! When I finally brought the boxes into class we unpacked them together and jumped right in to our exploration.
Words cannot describe the pure enjoyment of learning that occurred as a result of your donation. You may indeed be responsible for creating future electricians!
Your support and funding of our electricity unit is greatly appreciated.”
