A Comfy Classroom with Multicultural Play!
Funded Nov 8, 2023Thank you so very much! My students come to school with many different needs which we attempt to meet daily. My goal is to give them a safe and fun learning environment so when they are with me we can focus on being a kid. You have helped with this goal.”

This classroom project was brought to life by General Motors & Young Sheldon on CBS and 3 other donors.Sense and Play for Pre-K 2.0
Funded Nov 7, 2022The items we've purchased with this grant has given my students learning opportunities they would not have had otherwise. My students come from an impoverished community where there is not always access to new things or new opportunities. The sensory items have been a great investment for my neurodiverse classroom. The seating purchased has given my students choice and voice in the classroom which helps create a since of community and independence we may have not been able to achieve. Thank you for making it all possible!”
With gratitude,
Mrs. Timperley
We Play in PreK
Funded Jul 24, 2022I wanted to take a moment to think you for blessing my students. The toys and resources have helped creating moments of learning and inclusion with in my classroom. I have a neurodiverse classroom this year which presents unique needs. I have students with autism who need sensory based breaks though out the day as well as other students who have either never been in school or have poor social skills due to COVID.
We have been able to have rich conversations about how to set the table, different foods, calm down techniques, and math based conversations. We have been able to use a variety of manipulatives to discuss math and life topics. The items purchased with this money have truly enhanced our classroom this year.
Thank you again for donating and giving my students these opportunities.”

Sense and Play for Pre-K!
Funded Feb 8, 2022Thank you for allowing my kiddos this opportunity! I am very ecstatic to have these items for my room. My students will use these items daily. I cannot wait to see everything come together and the students tuck into everything. We could not have made this happen without your donations.”
