Kindergarten Math

Thank you so much for your generous donations to our kindergarten classroom. Your funding helped our class receive our fun, new, and engaging math center materials. These math materials allow us to play and learn at the same time. We use our math materials on a daily basis. The students ask to work with them every day !

We use the math activities and counters during independent math time. We also use the math games during buddy math time. The students pair off with their math buddy, pick a math game from our new materials and then work/play with their math buddy. The students use these math resources to strengthen their counting skills, as well as their addition and subtraction skills. They also use these new resources to practice counting on and decomposing larger numbers.

These math center materials and resources have helped the students work independently during math time. The students have had fun engaging in new games and activities that are helping them reinforce their basic math skills. As you can see by the photographs I have included, the students are really enjoying their new math materials. Thank you for your generosity and time in funding K-G30's new math centers !”
