Although my students will not start the year in the classroom, I want to make sure they have access to books at home. Many of my students do not have books at home and with no access to a library, they will have an opportunity to explore the wonders inside of books. My goal is to help my learners build their home library with books that will help their imaginations grow. For example, the books range in subjects, interest, experience, and supports their cognitive and literacy development. Many of the books are culturally sensitive and allows the students to see their importance within the community. The topics and subjects in the books are reinforced during Distance Learning Instructions. Please join me and give my students the chance to have their own books to explore, dream, and enjoy with their families.
