I have Kindergarteners first grade combo classroom. They love to move, cut, color, and learn. Both classes are full of different personalities and different learning styles. Together we are exploring all the learning styles to see what fits each of them. Kindergarten is a mixture of academics and play. My students are full of enthusiasm for learning. Tools are very important when teaching my students academic skills. And when the tools are not there it can be very hard to teach that skill to the full capacity that the student needs or get enough practice to mastered.
