I am a sixth grade teacher at a low-income school located in an urban school district. The majority of students who attend this school are eligible to receive Title 1 funding. The students at our school are eager to explore the expanding world of technology that surrounds them. Not only are the students encouraged, and perform at a high academic level, they also are exposed to the arts. The winter program and sixth grade culmination are two examples of when they sing and dance for the school and their families.
