My students are hard workers and learn best when they are able to experience and manipulate the concept we are learning about. Some of the questions we are repeatedly experiencing regarding 3D shapes are practically impossible to visualize in 2D. I know that if I could put some tangible tools in their hands, they would be so much more successful with these concepts and gain a sense of pride and confidence in math which is so hard to come by for many students.
