We're Starting 2019-2020 on the WRITE Foot!
Funded Jul 25, 2019My English Learners were extremely grateful to learn about their new writing supplies! We were reminded of the kindness and generosity that exists in our community and across our nation.
With much excitement, each of my students received a primary writing journal! These journals will allow students to demonstrate their writing progress for the entire school year. In addition, our primary pencils were freshly stocked for my primary students. These pencils allow my youngest learners to grip and hold the pencil appropriately for proper letter formation.
Furthermore, my students will complete family engagement projects which will be displayed in a group binder. These group binders will serve as a showcase of the continued partnership of parents and schools.
I would like to extend my sincere thanks for helping me attain full funding of this project! My students are ready for a school year of learning to write with great motivation! All of this is possible because of your generosity.”
With gratitude,

Anchors and Messages: An Easel for All!
Funded Dec 16, 2016From the moment we found out that our Easel was fully funded, we have been so excited to get started using it in our learning space! Each day, students are eager to view the language of the day posted on the easel. The language of the day, allows for my English Learners to practice their speaking and listening skills. Through student responses of the language of the day, we engage in speaking the English language. Furthermore, we are creating reading and writing charts to practice life long skills that help my English Learners obtain proficiency in all of the language domains.
Moreover, our hearts are beaming with gratitude for the donors who helped make this project a reality. People like you make all the difference!”

Wonderful Word Work!
Funded May 19, 2016When my students heard the exciting news of the new word work materials arriving, they were beyond excited! We opened them right away and learned the directions for use through modeling and direct instruction. These new word work stations are already bringing a new level of learning engagement to my students. I have some newcomers who just arrived here this past week and are eager to learn how to read. These students will benefit greatly from the various activities to help build their sight word fluency and gain foundational phonics skills for years to come!
Both my students and I are looking forward to using the materials up until the last day of second grade! I know that the materials will bring so much learning and engagement in the new school year, which will be coming before you know it!
It is with a heart full of gratitude that I would like to extend my thanks! Your contribution to Wonderful Word Work shows that there is kindness in the world and education is valued by so many generous people! I look forward to sharing these materials with my future students in the years to come. My next step is to find some engaging writing stations to bring a new love of writing to my students.
Thanks again for your support!”
With gratitude,
Mrs. Guidaboni
