My students attend an arts school where we integrate music, dance, drama, and art each day. My class is full of 23 high energy, loving, excited to learn students. My students are mostly on free/reduced lunch. I have 6 out of my 23 students who pay for their lunch. The poverty level of our school is around 78%. Most of the parents cannot afford to send in school supplies. My students do not have much, if any, technology at home. In this ever changing world of technology, I feel it is important for them to use it in the classroom to learn. That's why I wrote this grant for an iPad, so I can inspire them to learn more through the use of technology. Right now in my classroom, I have no computers or technology for the students to use because of budget cuts. I think having this iPad will help every student in my class.
