4th Grade is STEMtastic
Funded Nov 20, 2017From the bottom of my joyful teacher heart...THANK YOU!!! My students are loving the resources you provided for this project. They are extending their learning of gravity and simple machines through engaging STEM activities.
My students were beyond thrilled to receive new resources for our classroom. Their little faces lit up from the moment I carried the boxes in from the front office. When we opened the boxes, they became more excited to see all the tools they would use to extend their learning.
Our next step for this project is to create a new simple machine. Through the materials, we will build a simple machine and also reinforce our vocabulary of simple machines.
Thank you so much for helping to provide my students a brighter future. You are so appreciated!!”

Funded Mar 27, 2018I cannot thank you enough for supporting my students! We are using them during daily instruction to enhance the attention of students during lessons.
From the moment my students found out I wrote the grant for wobble stools they have been ecstatic and anxiously awaiting their arrival. My students received their wobble stools yesterday and have begged to use them since. These are an amazing tool and are transforming the learning of my students with each use.
Students will be able to use these stools daily. They help tremendously with students who need to be able to wiggle while they are working.
Again, thank you from the bottom of my heart for helping support my students and their needs! You are amazing!”

Funded Nov 28, 2017My students and I are using the Little Bits and Snap Circuits to further explore simple circuits. My students are able to use the materials to create their own circuits. Students are able to connect each piece in a different way to create a completely different circuit from their classmates.
My students were so excited to find out that our project had been funded. Their faces lit up in a way I had not yet seen before. They have had so much fun building and exploring simple circuits through the Little Bits and Snap Circuits.
My students will be able to extend their knowledge of simple circuits as we continue with our lessons on circuits by creating different circuits. Some of my students have even create more complex circuits through their explorations.
I cannot thank you enough for your generosity and willingness to help me push my students to great heights!”
