I am in need of laptops in my classroom to enable the students that do not have access to a computer to create meaningful projects with technology. Having laptops in my classroom will also help encourage the amount of students who don't complete the assignment due to the lack of resources at home and in school. I am in a school of roughly 1,000 students with one computer labs and only 30 computers. Many times we can't even get into the lab because it's being used and when we do get in a bunch of the computers aren't working. Clearly, it is evident that laptops are needed for my classroom. They will be put to good use and will put a smile on the childrens' faces. They will be proud to display their hard work on the bulletin boards in the classroom and in the hallways.
