• Keeping Up with the Times!!

  My kids have LOVED reading these magazines and learning new things from around the World. They are gaining so many experiences and then they get to take home the magazines to share with family members and friends.

  TIME Magazine brings a new aspect to the classroom. They love the virtual version, but mostly the magazines. They sit around the room and read to other and we discuss all the current events. I am so grateful for this experience with them!!

  My class of 2023/2024 school year missed out on a few fun things due to COVID, but this makes everything better!!”

• Speak into the Qball, please!

  We absolutely love our Qball!! The microphone inside of it makes it so much easier for the kids to talk to each other. We have a hearing impaired student in our room, and he loves it! He's able to hear the kids when they read out loud, and the fact that we can throw it around the room without worrying about anything breaking is AWESOME!! Who doesn't love throwing things around the classroom WITH permission?!

  Our Qball gets the kids out of their seats, and helps build their confidence when it comes to reading.

• Keeping Up with the TIMEs!

  TIME for Kids has completely changed our classroom routine. The love being able to read articles and discuss them with each other. They love the fun activities the magazines provide and the cool, exciting interactive tools! The kids are able to understand what's going on outside of our classroom and their homes and they are quite interested in situations they had no idea about!

  It's so much fun watching their wheels turn and having something to break up the normal daily routine. They get excited when they see our new magazine issues and it also helps with classroom management!

• Artfully Inspired!

  My kids love having art supplies!! We are so thankful and excited to use everything! It's tough having fun and being able to express our artistic sides when so much of third grade concentrates on testing and test scores. There's a lot of pressure on these children to "make our schools look good", and it's not fair to them. It takes away from their childhood and their school experiences. To be able to make sure my kids are learning and to be able to use different, fun techniques to teach them, means the world to me. Thank you so much for your support!”

• Rise & Shine With Morning Tubs!

  Morning tubs has let my kids get excited for morning work! They come into the classroom, some dragging from staying up too late the night before, and the last thing they want to do is start writing and thinking about schoolwork. Morning tubs are a fun, mind-boggling way to start our day. The kids get to interactive with their friends and collaborate on projects and buildings. It's a great way to teach about teamwork and leadership. I am so blessed to have such amazing people donate to our classroom.”

• Reading is Learning!

  My students were thrilled when the boxes came in with new books! They couldn't wait to start reading. My children are at a beginning reading

  level but I do have about six or so that can read on a first grade level. They love being paired up and reading to each other. The ones who can't read as well, love talking about the pictures and making predictions during the stories.

  We use our books everyday. I read aloud to them every morning and afterward, we have our four centers. I have my own center, my assistant has her center, we have an independent center, and the classroom library is a center.

  This project has helped me open their minds and really push them to use their imaginations. We are constantly making predictions, going over the jobs of an author and illustrator, the parts of the book, how to read the words and use context clues if we don't know a word, and we love changing the ending of a story.

  My class and I could not be more grateful. Thank you all for everything!”
