Colors of the World!
Funded Aug 11, 2023Thank you for your donation to our classroom. The materials brought such excitement to our students. They were eager to open the boxes and see the new materials. Our students have been using the dry erase boards and markers with such success and excitement. We have found that our students are more engaged in the lesson when they are given choices of how to share and they are truly enjoying using the dry erase boards. They have also been able to use these materials in group work. During group work students have been engaged in the lesson more fully.
My students and I truly appreciate your contribution. Your selflessness will help be to be a better teacher and my students to become more successful. You have made an investment in their future and we are forever grateful!”

Center Time!
Funded Nov 8, 2023Thank you for your generous contribution to our project "Center Time". My students and I were very excited to receive the resources you donated to our classroom. We eagerly opened the materials together and have built them into our centers. I am grateful to have supplies to enhance the teaching and learning experience in my classroom.
Being able to provide my students with hands-on materials such as the snap cubes and tiles motivates my students to work harder. They are very visual learners and these different learning opportunities allows them to engage in the lesson in a much deeper manner to demonstrate understanding and mastery.
Your generosity is key to the success of our students. When students work in centers the time is more meaningful with the materials you have donated. Thank you for helping us engage our students in different learning activities and making math more tangible with hands-on manipulatives!”

Funded Aug 11, 2023Thank you very much for your generosity. Your generous donation has made learning more engaging in our classroom. With the use of the cricut I have been able to differentiate learning activities to meet the varied needs of my students. The students learn in so many ways and having the ability to make them materials that they can engage with has had such a positive impact on my students. I am seeing an increase of productivity and engagement. Students are more willing to take chances with their learning because they are having fun doing it. Student conversations have been deeper and more meaningful.
Group work in our classroom was very difficult however with the use of these new tools students are more willing to work together. I have been able to make manipulatives and have them available to further student understanding. Through the use of these different manipulatives students are demonstrating mastery of new mathematical concepts.”

Hands-On Math & Science!
Funded Sep 29, 2022Thank you for your very generous donation to our classroom. The materials have been so beneficial to the students in allowing me to differentiate materials. Our class is filled with very diverse learners and the more manipulatives and hands on materials offered tremendously increases participation and success. Using the cricut I have been able to make math manipulatives to go along with different lessons. Through touching and moving the materials students are more able to apply their understanding of new concepts. Students are fully engaged in the lessons. Thank you again for your generosity in helping our students.”

This classroom project was brought to life by An Anonymous Classroom Supporter.Flexible Seating
Funded Jun 15, 2022Thank you for your very generous donation to our classroom. The flexible seating allows for students to move freely around the classroom to optimize learning. It allows me as a teacher to group students more effectively and have students engaged in lessons that are centered around their academic needs. It also brings an element of fun to the classroom because the students love when they have the chance to move and sit on the stools. We are greatly appreciative of your support. The students eagerly ask each morning if we're doing group work and look forward to these learning opportunities. Thank you again for your donation!”

Funded Jun 29, 2022Thank you for your very generous donation to our classroom. The students were so excited to hear of your generosity and to begin using the manipulatives to better understand math topics.
In using the different materials I am able to group students based on their needs and learning goals. The materials allow them to engage in different lessons in different ways. Currently, we are working on finding equivalent ratios and the Equivalent Fraction magnet game gave students a fun way to practice and demonstrate their understanding. To review for our quiz we played a Jeopardy game and the students loved using the buzzers. It was a great way for students to review and prepare.
I plan to continue to use these resources to engage students and make math fun. Many of my students are visual and hands on learners and these materials let students learn by exploring. They are then better able to demonstrate mastery of a topic. I know that these materials will enhance the learning in my classroom and I am grateful.”

Funded Apr 1, 2022Thank you all so much for your very generous donation of headphones to our classroom. My students are very different learners and the headphones have allowed me to differentiate tasks to meet students needs. The students are all truly enjoying being able to work on computers on differentiated tasks without the outside distractions. It has also allowed me as the teacher to work with small groups while other groups attend to tasks on the computer. My very visual learners are grasping tasks and finding success. We will continue to reach our goals and make academic gains because of your generosity.
In Math, the students are on very different levels and by grouping students I can have each student working toward goals with the same main lesson. Hands-on activities and videos enhance student engagement and learning in our classroom. I hope to continue to be able to offer my students these learning experiences.”

Puppets To Make Our Learning Come Alive!
Funded Mar 2, 2011Thank you so much for your very generous donation to our classroom. We are having so much fun with the fairy tale puppets. We're working on retelling both Goldilocks and The Three Little Pigs. They love retelling the story for the video camera using the puppets.
The puppets have greatly helped my English Language Learner students! They have shown such confidence and are truly enjoying themselves. This would not have been possible without your help. Your donation has allowed the students to become engaged and deeply involved in their learning. We're so grateful!”
