  • Kinder”garden” Science

    Funded Sep 7, 2024

    This project has made an amazing impact on my students! Through hands on learning, they have been able to investigate and witness true visuals in seed science and plant life underground!

    We are excited for the Spring when we can use our seeds to start planting and seeing our garden come to life!

    We are happy to connect with a local nursery to learn more about composting and using our green house!

    We have plans to use school scrap items from the cafeteria to be able to see firsthand how composting can be done so easily. This project is not just helpful to my students this year, but will be in easily implemented science program. I can use in the future.”

  • Hands-on Learning and Flexible Seating for Kindergarten

    Your contribution to my class is much appreciated. These tools have helped to create a space of comfort for my students.

    We have utilized the stadium chairs every day and I find them to be the most sought after "flexible seat" in our classroom.

    In addition, the playdough and STEM materials have made our center time more intriguing and have created depth in our conversations around collaborative learning.

  • Flexible Seating, Hands-On Learning and Storage Materials for Kindergarten!

    This has been the most generous donation for my kindergarten students. We are so grateful for these materials and cannot say thank you enough.

    When the boxes arrived, the kids were thrilled. They could not wait for me to open them to see which materials were inside.

    The surf desks have been so incredibly helpful; more than I expected.

    We plan to add to the collection and hope to submit a project in the future to increase the number of seating options available for our students.

    The metal rolling carts are beautiful and store so many more things that I anticipated. What a wonderfully, organized space we have created because of you all!”

  • COVID Friendly Seating Options for Kindergarten Students!

    Our class cannot thank you enough for the generous donation. My students are loving their seating surf desks, bean bags, playdough and headphones.

    Best learning takes place in comfortable spaces and these have made a huge difference to these kiddos and myself as well.

    When the boxes arrived, they hollered! They were so excited to open them and see what materials had made it here first!

    The bean bags create an individual space for reading, working or listening. They also work well for small group or team tasks.

    We use the surf desks every day when we work in whole group writing.

    This has been a gamechanger for my students!”

Currently, our classroom has standard tables and chairs and a reading rug. The storage carts are perfect for housing our new materials and conveniently rolling them to ANY area of the classroom!
