  • Cultural Representation in the Classroom

    Funded Dec 12, 2024

Thank you so much for supporting me and my classroom! With your help I can create a better overall classroom experience.

All the students were so excited! Our first project was to create a fun winter holiday celebration door display! We created photo stickers of each student sledding down a snowy mountain. Each student felt represented and enjoyed being part of fun Holiday door decorating!

Without your support and Donors Choose, I just would not be able to buy all these little extra luxuries that make all the difference !! It's all in the details!! That's how the saying goes, it's the little details that help me build an environment kindness and respect!”

    With gratitude,

    Ms. G.

  • Snack Love

    Funded Sep 1, 2024

Thank you so much for helping me give students these amazing snacks that they could bring home and share with their families. They were so happy to receive so much and are still talking about it! It's so nice to hear the honest appreciation in their voice! These students appreciate the little that is given to them unlike others who may not feel the same level of appreciation because they receive gifts/snacks like this on a regular basis.

I would love to do this more often, but unfortunately, it would be quite expensive for me to afford. I'm so grateful to all the donors who help me fulfill this project and shower my students with some love!”

  • Start the Year with Kindness

    Funded Jul 20, 2024

Thank you for helping me get this project funded.

    Our hotdog social/ Kindness campaign

Sponsored by 5th grade students together with our school PTA kicked off the year, for all students, with a positive vibe. The students pledged to be the "I" in Kind and to try their best to be kind and to promote kindness as role models for the lower grades. Parents, students and teachers enjoyed spending the time together. There's nothing better than food to bring people together and the hotdog social proved to be a success. Everyone is looking forward to the next one.

At the SEEALL Academy, our hope is that ALL students learn empathy and emotional intelligence needed to lead our communities kinder future.”

  • High Five for Doing the Right Thing!

    Funded Aug 27, 2024

Thank you donors so very much for contributing to my project! This positive reinforcement of kindness and compassion is s strategy I have used for many years. The students respond to it, mostly because it is random and given to whomever I catch doing the right thing such as acting kind, helping others, and other positive behavior that shows compassion. I do not give high fives for academics and students cannot ask for one. Rewarding not academic behaviors is helping me keep my students happy while they are in school.”

  • Wellness for Each Other and our Environment

    Funded Jan 17, 2024

Thank you so very much for helping me with this project! I'm so excited to personalize them and give the materials to the students!! We are hoping that once they start using the sustainable water bottles in school other students will want to use refillable bottles too! Using their own refillable bottles will help eliminate the excessive waste of disposable plastic water bottles. These bottles are often not recycled correctly in our school. Students throw them in the wrong bins and many times they are found on the floor throughout the school building, in classrooms and in wardrobes.

Reusable bags and eco-friendly water bottles aren't just a trend, they are an important part of our everyday lives and help protect future lives. Thank you for helping us spread the word”

  • Cultural Celebrations

    Funded Dec 20, 2023

Thank you so much for donating to my project!! Your generosity is truly appreciated. My class loved celebrating Lunar New Year. We learned about and created the zodiac calendar and compared traditions between different cultures! My students were so excited to learn about their own zodiac sign. They were so grateful and excited when they receive the fortune cookies, lucky candy and chocolate gold coins.

I always feel so blessed when people like you take the time to spread kindness! Thank you so much!”

  • Civics in Color

    Funded Dec 13, 2023

Thank you all for your help in bringing this project to life. My students and I will make great use of the printer ink throughout the year. My school doesn't provide classroom printers. That means teachers are responsible to supply their own ink if they want the luxury of having a classroom printer. Printer ink is so expensive, especially color ink. I love being able to offer the luxury to print out assignment to students. Without your help many of my students would have to visit the local public library each time they need to print something for an assignment. This will truly positively impact the stress level on their lives! Thanks again so very much!”

  • At Home Community Sharing

    Funded Sep 29, 2023

My students were thrilled to receive these fun snacks to bring home with them after school. I'm always amazed at how excited students are when they are given fun food!

Many of my students stay for after school program so they have a long day and couldn't resist eating some of the snacks before they went home. Thanks to your amazing generosity they still had some healthy snacks to curb their hunger and share with family before dinner when they went home. It was such a big hit, I hope to be able to do this again this year for the students and their familIes.”

  • Visual Tweaks!

    Funded May 24, 2023

Thank you all for you generosity and kindness. With your help I can offer my students with special needs simple supports through the use of visual aids. For example, creating personalized anchor charts and graphic organizers is an easy way for me to reach all students in my class.

These are small items that I have wished but can make a world of difference in the classroom and is especially beneficial for students with special needs.

Visual learning is so important for some students! When teachers have quality tools they can readily apply strategies to reach all learners.

Thank you for helping me make that possible.”
