I teach in an inclusion classroom. This means many students need my assistance during learning activities. My students are constantly rotating in groups around the room and a larger kidney table and flexible seating stools would allow me to meet with more students at once in a more efficient way. Currently, if I want to meet with 6 students in a small group we sit on the floor with broken clipboards. This makes it harder for students to transition between questions and text along with handling their learning tools (highlighter, pencil, reading trackers, and other assistive equipment). At a table they can have their own space to spread out. The stools are perfect for my fidgety students. This will allow them to direct their anxious energy into their seat and keep their focus on their work.
