KN95 Face Masks
Funded Nov 29, 2022Thank you so much for helping me to protect my children. Having the KN95 masks has been a blessing. My students can be safe and they are able to speak clearly during lessons. These KN95 masks are shaped so that the fabric is off of their lips and mouth, but they still surround their cheeks and face for protection. It makes it easier to hear them enunciating words and making sounds. These masks make teaching during a pandemic so much better. And I have had so many fewer cases of covid in my classroom this year. Thank you!”

Funded Oct 5, 2022Thank you so much for making our sensory interactions fun and colorful! The light table is so excited with all of its different colors. Our sensory beads make for some cool hand dipping. Instead of touching each other, my students can dip their hands into the sensory beads and balls. They love using the beads and circles to spell words and make pictures, too. The sense of touch is stimulated with this table and these manipulatives.
Having this option for my students has been wonderful. When they need to touch and manipulate things, they can go to the light table and squish their hands into the beads and balls. They love it! And so do the children who are no longer being touched. The light function makes the beads change color, too. They love how the light can fade or flash.
Thank you for for your kindness and generosity to my children. We are all so grateful!”

Keeping Our Classroom Safe With A Touchless Hand Sanitizing Station
Funded Oct 5, 2022Thank you so much for this amazing touch-less hand sanitizer station and hand sanitizer. My students love the feel of this hand sanitizer, too. It moisturizes as it sanitizes, and it feels so good on our hands. My students have not complained once about the sticky feeling of hand sanitizer. They do not complain about using this hand sanitizer every time we enter the room. The automatic dispenser is perfect for our little hands and no one needs to touch the station. With the coronavirus and flu virus running rampant right now, I want to protect my students more than ever. Having a hand sanitizer that they love to use makes protecting them so easy. Thank you for this gift of health.”

Compatibility With Technology
Funded Aug 16, 2022Thank you so much for helping me with a reliable computer that is compatible with my students' iPads and knowledge of computers. My students' computer history has been iPads and iPhones. The Mac computer is compatible and easy to use. I have been through many fixed HP laptops and I am so happy to have a Mac computer that I feel is more reliable.
I am sorry for the delayed thank you. It took Best Buy a couple of months to get this computer to me, as they were backordered at their distribution center. As you can see, it is a wonderful and popular item. But, they finally came through and this computer is amazing. The children love seeing the big screen from the carpet.
Sometimes, our extra large TV monitor/screen did not connect to the laptop HP computer and the children had to watch the science videos from my small laptop screen. Now, if the connection does not work, they have a 24" Mac screen to view, and the sound is great. I hope to get Living Books for the children to actively use on our new Mac computer so that the children can do interactive reading together. It is wonderful! Thank you for this incredible gift.”

Starting the Day With a Good Breakfast
Funded Oct 5, 2022Thank you for helping me to fight hunger. My students are growing every day, and they are always hungry. By having these wonderful breakfast bowls and bars available for my kids, they are able to eat when they are hungry. This gives them energy and settles their tummies so that they can learn.
Worrying about being hungry adds to the stress of learning. My students want to do well in school. When they are hungry, they cannot focus. And they worry that they will not get to eat soon. I love having a small array of breakfast items and snacks available for my students all day long. At any time, they can let me know that they need to eat something. If their tummies hurt, I ask if they have eaten or if they are thirsty. I ask them if they'd like to try something to eat. Usually, that does the trick and my little ones are ready to get back to work.
Thank you for helping me to feed my students so they can get back to the business of being a child.”

Funded Oct 5, 2022Thank you so much for your kindness and generosity. Please know that your kindness is spreading to all of the children at our school. Each week, the children earn Cougar Cash by showing school spirit. They dress up on crazy hair day or Disney day. They wear school colors and school gear on Fridays to earn Cougar Cash. Then, they are given the opportunity to spend that cash as our School Store. These jump ropes and pop-its are so much fun, keep the kids active, and keep their hands busy. They keep our kids moving in a fun way. They love the squishy toys and the stuffed animals. Sometimes, they just want to hug their little bears. It is so sweet.
Also, they earned their Cougar Cash with school participation in activities and cleaning up around the school, so they are learning pride in our school. They are learning about money and finances. They are learning the power of the dollar.
Most importantly, they are learning school spirit and taking pride in their school.
Thank you for helping us to boost our school, our morale, and our school spirit. Thank you for helping to keep our students moving with jump ropes and fidget toys. Your thoughtfulness is spreading to our school. We are all truly grateful.”

Puzzles And Games To Promote Teamwork
Funded Aug 16, 2022Thank you so much for your generosity! My students absolutely love doing puzzles. These puzzles are challenging and colorful. At the end of the day, my children asked to keep the pieces in tact so that we can work on it another day. That shows me that they are learning diligence and persistence. They believe they can do it and so they will. They add to it every day. They are so excited when they find a piece that matches. They are becoming detectives, matching a certain shape or color combination to a part of the puzzle.
I am so proud of them. They are showing me teamwork. They are learning to share and work together. And they are so proud of themselves! We have not finished any of the puzzles yet. But, we have four of them in the works.
Thank you for helping me to teach persistence, perseverance, and diligence. And it is all FUN, too!”

Funded Sep 10, 2022Thank you so much for helping me to feed my students. This year, my students seem to be especially hungry. Having these extra breakfast bars and snack available to them has made a huge difference. I don't have kids going home with tummy aches. They can go to the back of the room, pick a snack, and sit at the table to eat. After their bellies are filled, they are ready to go again. What a blessing! It's amazing how a little bit of food can calm their nerves and their stomachs. Thank you so much for this gift.
Sometimes, in the afternoon, when we finish our work early, we go outside for a quick snack and a little exercise. They eat, talk, and work together. It is so much fun to watch and join them as they begin to bond as a classroom family. Thank you so much for helping me with feeding my kids and calming their tummies. We are so very grateful.”

Keeping Us Healthy and Safe
Funded Aug 9, 2022Thank you for keeping us healthy and safe. The masks have been wonderful! They are using them quickly, as many families no longer have them at home. So, we are able to protect each other at school. The tissue is another way we protect each other by blowing our noses.
My students use the wipes and spray often to clean the tables. They just love to clean! It has been wonderful for us all because these wipes also disinfect.
In addition, they love having the towels in the classroom. Our water bottles drip and spill. The paper towels at school are not very absorbent. They may dry our hands, but the water spills just get pushed around. These towels have been fantastic! Whenever there is a spill, we toss a towel on it and it soaks it right up. The kids are also very clean and tidy with a towel near the sink. I often see them giving their water bottles a wipe down after filling so that we don't have rings on the table. They know that a worksheet on the water ring ruins the paper. They are learning cause and effect. It's very cool!
Thank you for your generosity and kindness and for thinking of my kids for your donation.”

Funded Aug 16, 2022Thank you for making our classroom organized and creative! My students are able to find any supply or art material that they need or want in an instant. When they run out of glue or can't find a crayon, they know exactly where to go to get another. And if they find anything left out, they know where to put it. It makes a big difference to a child when they know they don't have to hoard anything. When they have the tools they need at their disposal, they don't have to stop their creative juices because of a need for something. The creative process flows and a colored pencil is just a step away. My students can write and create masterpieces without stopping. They can make3-dimensional art projects or birthday cards for family members knowing that they have what they need when they need it, and where to find it when they run out.
I have also found that they look in their individual toolboxes and notice missing items. They are starting to organize their personal bins, making sure they have everything ready for when we begin our work.
Thank you for this 20-cubby unit and all the bins. My students and I are very grateful.”
