iTeach with iPads, Part 3
Funded Jan 20, 2019I am so appreciative of your support! My students are excited to learn because of the kindness of people like YOU!
In this project, I received one iPad mini to add to our classroom iPad mini station. Our classroom goal is to acquire enough iPad minis so each student can have their own to use on a daily basis. These iPad minis will serve many children throughout the years to come. My students all learn differently and this is a great way to encourage and involve students who need hands-on activities to retain information learned.
Our new classroom iPad minis are helping my students learn because they can complete activities using educational apps. My students also can use our Apple TV to connect to our classroom Smart Board and peer teach each other. This type of interactions with my students not only allows students to "teach" but also learn while doing it. Thank you again for your support!”

Learning with Osmo!
Funded Jan 12, 2019Thank you for the generosity you have shown my students and me. The Osmo learning systems are a great tool for math fluency, making words, building, and coding. The drawing component will boost my students' creativity. They love playing with the Osmo game systems while communicating well with their partner or other group members. One of my students has their own Osmo system at home and became the "teacher" for her fellow students when we used them. The Osmo not only teaches students but allows students to have the confidence to share the things they have learned with others. Thank you again for your donation. Please know that it is greatly appreciated.”

KEVA This!!
Funded Nov 10, 2018Thank you so much for your donations to our classroom for these fun materials. We have used them in one of our Math Centers and the students LOVED them. The KEVA planks work great with our KEVA Brain Builders and KEVA Brain Builders Junior cards we received in another grant. We now have plenty of KEVA planks for smaller groups thanks to this grant. The cards challenge the students to carry on great conversations together in their groups. It sure is great to see the excitement on my kiddos' faces when we have something new to use in our classroom. Again, I appreciate your willingness to give to my students!!!”

Funded Feb 8, 2018I am so appreciative of your support! My students are excited to learn because of the kindness of people like YOU!
In this project, I received numerous chairs to expand our flexible seating in our classroom. My students pay attention and are more engaged when they are utilizing these chairs. Some of my students can not help but fidget in their seats. It is either part of their disability or they do not know how to control their wiggles. They are able to get their "wiggles" out without bothering others around them. These chairs are making a big difference in their daily lives during the school day.
Our new classroom chairs are helping my students learn because they can wiggle in a quiet manner which helps them focus more on the activity in which they are participating. More student focus means more things learned. More things learned means meeting their student goals and closing their learning gaps. These chairs have become motivators because every kid loves to use our new chairs and based on my observations, my students are getting more things are done in a timely manner using their chairs. Thank you again for your support!"”
