Technology in the Classroom
I would like to thank each and every one of you who helped me give my students a chance to use technology in the classroom. Students are making wonderful progress using the equipment to help them express their writing abilities through electric components. One students uses the noise cancellation headphones to help him concentrate throughout the day as well as to focus on writing his assignments. The dragon naturally speaking software assist another student to express and write his thoughts. The enlarged keyboard assists a student to help him type. The wireless headphones assist students to cancel out noise and listen to their online assessments in reading and math programs that are read to them online. My students are making the outmost progress to meet our educational needs and success.”

This classroom project was brought to life by Perry and Donna Golkin Family Foundation and 8 other donors.

Empowering students by using technology to achieve their goals in order to meet their individual education plans. This project will reach six students in a Title I school in Long Island City. The noise cancellation will give one student a chance to cancel out the noise and be able to listen to stay focused and on task. The dragon naturally speaking software will assist my students who have to express and write down their ideas without getting frustrated and feeling upset. With the assistive technology we will receive we can make the outmost progress to meet our educational needs and success.
