  • Roll Out the Red Carpet

    Funded Dec 8, 2021

    You have no idea how grateful I am for your help with funding this project. Your donation came at the right time. When I came back from Christmas Break, my ceiling leaked in the corner of my room that ruined two beanbags and my rug for my library area. I was devastated. Two days later my new bean bags and rug from this project were delivered.

    My students were so excited and eager to help me set up the new seating area in front of our whiteboard. They love the beanbags. They are larger and fluffier than the old ones. One student literally roll around on the carpet.

    We use our new sitting area for instruction and good behavior rewards. The students have been so good and ready to learn. I am currently working on a project for additional seating in the classroom. Without donors like you, I could not create the cozy environment in which my students thrive in. Thank you for everything.”

  • Hocus Pocus Let's Focus

    Thank you so much for the privacy folders. The folders came in just in time to do our Case 21 Winter test. Other teachers were scrambling to make privacy folders, but thanks to you my class was taken care of.

    My students were so excited when they saw the new privacy folders. They love how sturdy and spacious the privacy folders are. Students were happy to have their own space during testing.

    We will continue to use our privacy folders during testing and when students just want some privacy during the day. I am currently working on a couple more projects to create additional seating in the classroom. Without donors like you, I would not be able to create the optimal space for my students to grow.”

I am going into my second year of teaching in August 2022. I went back to school three years ago at 45 years old to fulfill my need to make a difference in the lives of children. This will be my second year teaching Math to some awesome 4th graders . Being a new teacher, I am still growing my materials and resources. I am working hard to incorporate more technology and differentiation in my classroom. My students are 9-10 years old. They love to learn when lessons are engaging and fun. My students are from low income households that can not afford extra supplies and sometimes any school supplies at all. I want to create a safe loving environment so my students can do their best. I know my students will be so excited to use these resources funded by donors this school year!
