Our school is currently serving 2 full day, 2 half day Kindergartens, 4- first, 2nd and 3rd grades, 3 fourth and fifth grades . With and average of 30 students per class. We have a wide variety of students from from all walks of life. We are unique in that we have students from rural farm areas and suburban. We are primarily English speaking, but do have Russian, Japanese, Romanian, Arabic and Spanish, spoken in our school. Our students are curious about each other, people and places. They love reading and learning about the world they live in as well as places and cultures they have not experienced. To make this happen we use computers, tablets, maker stations, and of course books, both digital and paper! The main focus of our library is to be the safe place. Where kindness and acceptance is the norm and to spread the love of reading. Our Mary McPherson Wildcats are kind, readers, makers and innovators!
