I have some wonderful students who are from a variety of backgrounds. Many are ESL learners. Some are from homes where they are the only ones who speak English. A center where they can listen and learn by following along with the text from informational books would be a perfect tool for them to improve in their reading skills, as well as educate them about great men and women who made a difference in America.
