Building a Strong Reading Foundation
Funded Aug 19, 2011There is not enough words for me to express my thankfulness or gratitude for what you have done for my class this year. I placed the magnetic letters in my writing center. The students have loved spelling and forming their sight words and other words from their readers. The ABC puzzle has been placed in my puzzle center and they thoroughly enjoyed playing with it. The large letter chart has been a terrific phonics reinforcer for the letters we are studying each week. I honestly believe the usage of this is helping with my the wonderful writing my students are currently doing. The sound tubs have been a great hook or attention grabber on Monday. The students can't wait for me to get the bucket and surprise them with the new items and the new letter we are getting ready to study. The love being able to explore and write about these items in the phonic center. The alphabet bags are by far the coolest and neatest I have ever seen. Not only is it making my low verbal speaking students talk but helping so much with the students that have additional resource/life skills services. The storage rack simply helps me with the limited space in my room. By far I will use these items not only ALL year but all my future years in teaching. Everyone who comes into my classroom comment on the Letter of the Day Pocket Chart. Again thank you so much. I never in a million years would have imagine such generosity. ”
With gratitude,
Mrs. Fleak
