• Sturdy BookShelf on Wheels to the Rescue...ROUND 2!!

  I am truly overwhelmed with gratitude for the incredible contributions you made to our "Sturdy Bookshelf on Wheels" Project. My students were absolutely thrilled to see the new bookshelf, and they couldn't contain their excitement as we finally placed the long-awaited books on the shelf!

• Learning in Style

  On behalf of my students, we can't thank you enough for your kind donation to our Learning in Style project! The portable tent has come in VERY handy for all students, they have used it to read in when they get their work completed (they are working so hard so they can be one of the first ones to read in there each day!!). Their love for reading has increased because they can "read in the tent"!!!! The cardstock paper and laminating sheets have come in very handy for all of our projects we do!!! The thicker paper makes it so much easier for students to cut more accurately, and for the students who have their own individualized education plan, this is huge when they want to complete the activity like their peers! Thank You! The extra fidgets and tracing pad also come in handy throughout the week when students need that little distraction to help them through a test or even just to get them through the day! Your support for my students and my classroom is unbelievable and I appreciate it more than words can say! Thank You beyond words!”

• Stay Calm and Teach On...

  Thank you so much for your donation to our classroom projects! The two carpets have been a great asset to the classroom, especially for the students who prefer sitting on a cushion versus their chairs! They make the room a little more like "home" and students feel safe and comfortable doing their work! The carpets are also a great addition in the take a break area with the calm down posters and fidgets as a comfortable and safe place for the students to go to when they need to take a breather and collect their thoughts! The students and I cannot thank you enough for your thoughtful donation and willingness to help our classroom out! We appreciate it and look forward to using the items throughout the future years!!!”

• Tables for Learning!

  Again, I write this to thank each of you for your continued support to my classroom and the students at Black Hawk! These tables have been truly a great addition to my classroom; as you can tell from the pictures we can do small group reading and projects, and most recently have been used for when students are taking assessments and when they need their own area to complete their online tests!!!

  My students have enjoyed these tables and the various ways we can arrange them depending on what we are working on or what students are working on together!

  We appreciate your support and kindness in helping our classroom out with this project!!! We look forward to much more learning to come in the future!!!”

• Books on Wheels

  Funded Apr 29, 2022

  A long overdue, but heartfelt thank you for your donation to my classroom project, "Books on Wheels". With your donation, my classroom received a rolling shelf with bins to organize and label the vast assortment of books in my classroom library! The students enjoy going to the shelf and picking out the books by the level as well as by what genre they are wanting to read about. I am able to display books throughout the whole year!

  I love seeing their eyes light up when new books are placed in the bins throughout the year and they are even more excited when they can independently choose their book at their reading level because they are all labeled and displayed!

  The class also enjoy being the "librarian" as one of our jobs and at the end of the day or week putting the books back in their right area. Having the students take ownership of the books and our classroom is a huge step in showing them they can continue to do this at home or wherever they may be. Thank You for helping me promote life long learning and habits!

  Your support to my students and our small, rural school means a lot to my students and I! Thank you again, from the bottom of our hearts for the kind donation!!! We appreciate it so much!”

• Comfy Chairs For All!

  Thank you for your generous donation to our Comfy Chair project! My First Grade students have truly loved having their own comfy seat for our Reading Time and Independent Choice time! The comfy chairs allow the students to work independently while being comfortable. They enjoy using the comfy chairs during small group centers and playing games; making it more comfortable versus the floor. We will continue to use them throughout the years to come for independent and small group work! The students are looking forward to our first holiday movie day where we can use them to sit on during our movie!!!
