School Supplies for 5th Grade
Funded Jan 13, 2025I can't thank you enough for your generosity! Your support has truly made a difference in my students' learning experience.
Since receiving these resources, my students have eagerly incorporated them into their daily routines. The index cards have been a game-changer for mastering their times tables, making math more accessible and engaging. The classroom store—filled with items from your donation—has become an exciting part of our classroom economy, motivating students to earn play money through participation, assessments, and classroom jobs. Not only has this boosted engagement, but it's also teaching them valuable life skills like budgeting and saving.
Their excitement when they first saw the new materials was incredible. Many love art but never had the supplies to fully express their creativity. Watching them carefully save their classroom earnings to purchase these items was a beautiful moment, showing their growing sense of responsibility and reward.
Because of you, my students are more engaged, organized, and eager to learn. Your kindness has created a supportive and enriching environment where they can truly thrive, and we are so grateful!”

Math Manipulatives for 5th Grade
Funded Aug 14, 2024Special thanks for all of your support. Thanks to you, we were able to meet our goal! The donations you gave provided my students some well needed manipulatives! My students depend on manipulatives to help them understand concepts.
We have been using these manipulatives during our math and small groups period. This month, we are working on fractions! The fraction magnets have been especially useful in helping students visualize what they would look like. My students love using the handheld whiteboards! We use them for multiple choice options to have provide the entire class with the opportunity to participate. We used them during our classroom Halloween party. We were playing a Halloween themed figurative language game. They became very competitive and loved the experience.
The shapes will be used in a few months when we begin our lessons in 2D and 3D shapes. We look forward to the rest of the school year! Thank you!”
With gratitude,
Mrs. Fernandez
