As part of our guided reading and Social Studies program I would like to expose my students to current events that are happening in our country and the world. In third grade reading shifts from learning how to read to understanding what is read. Scholastic news is an engaging, relevant, way to spark my kiddos curiosity across many different topics while encouraging reading. Many of my kiddos benefit from working in a space with minimal distractions. My classroom is small and does not allow for proper spacing of my students. Privacy dividers will help my students focus on their own work blocking out many visual distractions.
