  • Bound to Be Great!

    Funded Aug 25, 2021

Thank you so much for funding my project, Bound to Be Great! With these materials I have been able to make and bound books for our teachers and students. I have also been able to use the Teachers Pay Teachers gift cards to purchase materials to help me best meet the needs of my learners.

I am so grateful for all of the support that I have received from you, donors. My students and I are so incredibly appreciative to have the materials to help them be the most successful learners they can be.

    Thank you again.”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Fabiano

  • Here or There, I Will Teach You Anywhere!

    Funded Sep 1, 2020

Thank you so much for donating to my project!

Since going to remote/virtual learning last spring, my students and I have been in need of resources that can be used both at home and at school. Kindergarten is a grade were students are just learning how to read and having the right materials goes a long way in helping to develop the skills they need to become great readers.

These books are used daily to help students develop, learn and practice critical reading skills. They are displayed on a shelf in my classroom (and at home!) where students eagerly await to see if they are going to be receiving a book from the collection.

Thank you again for your support.”

    With gratitude,

  • Cricut for Kinders!

    Funded Aug 13, 2019

Thank you so much for donating to my project, "Cricut for Kinders"! The students and I have enjoyed using this machine to it's fullest capacity! From making beautiful hallway decorations and giant flowers to labels that can bee seen all around our classroom, the Cricut has certainly brought our space to life!

Every day my students are excited to check out what new and fun things the Cricut has created for us!

As always, thank you, from the bottom of my heart for supporting me and my students.”

  • Osmo, Please!

    Funded May 6, 2019

Thank you for providing my students with these Osmos! Their level of active engagement with these tools is amazing! My students love solving the challenging puzzles with tangrams, guessing secret words and learning to spell, and learning different representations of numbers and other various math applications using the numbers program.

I have seen such growth in the short amount of time that we have been using these Osmos. I can't thank you enough for allowing my students to grow their love of math with this program.”

  • Reading Rocks!

    Funded May 6, 2019

Thank you so much for providing these valuable resources to my students! They absolutely LOVE using all of these center activities to help them grow as readers and writers.

These learning centers have allowed me to differentiate my reading instruction to meet the needs of my students. I have been able to provide them with activities that best suit the skill that they need improvment with.

In kindergarten, learning through play is the best way for students to learn. These literacy centers allow my students to do just that... play, learn, and grow. Thank you again.”

  • Making School Come Alive with Green Screen!

    Funded Dec 13, 2018

In a few short weeks, the equipment Central School has acquired through Donor's Choose has had an amazing impact on learning.

One example of this was in our 4th grade classes. As an introduction to their historical fiction unit in reading, students researched the history of certain places in the world their book was going to take place. They then presented their findings in a newscast where the backdrop was in fact that location with help from our green screen! The children loved watching the newscasts and "visiting" all of the different places.

In a few weeks, Central School will be observing "Kindness Week". As one of the school wide initiatives, third grade students wrote a skit showing the importance of being kind and standing up for each other. The students had a blast filming their skit in front of the green screen. They cannot wait for the entire school to enjoy their work when it is shown.

Teachers and students have many more fun and innovative ways to use these materials already planned. We are so thankful for the kindness of our donors to allow us to have the opportunity to work with the green screen to make learning so fun for our children.”

  • Please, Can We Have Some Mo (Willems)?

    Funded Dec 29, 2018

Thank you so very much for these wonderful books! My students could not be any more excited to have all of the Mo Willems books at their fingertips! They have enjoyed reading them every day since we have received them. The books have been placed in an area in our classroom where students have quick access to them. They enjoy reading them when waiting for their friends to unpack their things in the morning, after they have finished their snack, and during all of their free time! They have asked to have even asked to have them as part of their center activities!

Thank you for helping to continue to grow my students' love of reading! It truly is one of the best sights to see!”

  • Little Learners Love to Read

    Funded Oct 25, 2018

Thank you, thank you , thank you! Since I have so many students at various reading levels, I needed books that provided my students with content and material that would appropriately meet and challenge their reading abilities. All students have enjoyed these new books, either just by looking at pictures or reading them in their entirety. The new bins have allowed for easy access and organization. They have also added a rainbow of color to our classroom library, making it such an inviting and fun space.

I couldn't do what I do with your support. Thank you again.”

Thank you so much for donating to this project! My students LOVE being able to explore and learn with their new STEM activities. They have learned team work and perseverance by working with each other to answer questions, solve problems, and complete the challenges that are presented to them. My students are so excited each and every day to have the opportunity to use these materials.

Thank you for fostering their love of learning and encouraging them to explore and challenge themselves and the world around them.”

  • One Seat Does NOT Fit All!

    Funded Aug 20, 2018

Thank you so much for donating to my project "One Seat Does NOT Fit All!". My students absolutely love being able to choose where they sit and who they sit with each day. They have learned to make sure that no one sits alone and to be a good friend. Students have enjoyed bouncing and wobbling all while they continue to do their work! The bins have helped to keep students organized and allowed for them to keep track of their own materials.

With my sincerest appreciation, thank you. Thank you for supporting my classroom and allowing my students to have the best learning experience possible.”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Fabiano

Who doesn't love a rainbow? They always bring a sense of happiness and calm after a storm. This rainbow rug will allow students to sit in fun, yet practical way. When listening to read alouds or learning at the SmartBoard, the rainbow format will ensure that students are always able to see the board. Students will also be more engaged since they will always be able to see. The rug will also allow for them to learn about personal space, and not to be a "Space Invader" since they will each have their own spot to sit in and learn!
