I presently use a personal laptop in the classroom that I have to tote back and forth to school everyday. With remote learning and in-person learning flip flopping back and forth, having to break down my home set up to use at school repeatedly is extremely frustrating as a teacher. This laptop doesn’t have the capabilities to pair with content from the iPads that our class was assigned. I would like to be able to use apps and programs to create a LIVE Preschool News segment to upload to our classes website. My objective here is to teach students early that content produced to be viewed online should be tasteful and relevant and, quite frankly helpful. We want to have our own production set up in our room where we can pave the way for our tech savvy students to delve into visual arts.
