Thank you so much for helping to supply my classroom with more options for students to complete their work. We are so excited for our new stools. Students will feel more in control of their learning by your helping to create a more flexible seating and learning environment. Thank you so much for your generosity. Happy 2025!”

  • I Know All My Multiplication Facts!

    Funded Dec 23, 2023

The excitement for learning multiplication in grade 3 is always evident, but this year it is off the charts! The majority of students are having some much fun learning thier facts using their multiplication cards. It is really fun to watch!

Each week we play a multiplication facts game called "Around the World" where students try to make it around a circle of their classmates racing to fluently answer the multiplication fact faster then the student the are standing behind. They love this game and the competition this year is fierce. The fact that you have so generously donated so that each student can have their own set of flashcards is making such a difference in their multiplication fact fluency.

We will continue to play this game until the end of the year. This weekly excitement contributes to the students fluently knowing their 0-12 multiplication facts but learning them in a very fun and engaging way. Thank you so much for helping foster this culture in my classroom.”

  • It's Raining, It's Snowing and the Students Are Stuck Inside!

    Funded Dec 4, 2023

The excitement was crazy! When the boxes were delivered, a week before our holiday break, you would think that each student received an individual present. Thank you! We have already had rainy and cold days, which required that the students stay indoors. The students absolutely love playing with these new games and activities. The are learning how to be creative, cooperative, play using their imagination, and so much more. I could not feel more appreciative for all the generosity in supporting this project. My heart if full. Thank you again from our joyful classroom. Happy Holidays!”

Thank you so very much for your incredible support! So many new students have entered my classroom with limited English. • Block Out The Noise!

    Funded Aug 22, 2023

These headsets have had an incredible impact on our learning in room 201 already this school year! Each student has a headset that works well and they are able to use it when needed.

Currently, the students are working on creating nonfiction Expert Books during writing. They are researching various animals to find their favorite, they will then become an expert regarding that animal by continuing to complete research. After the research is completed they will write expository nonfiction books. During the research time students are using their computers and listening to nonfiction books to gather information, and are also watching and listening to videos describing their animal. These headsets have been an amazing addition to this research time. They each have a headset to use and can get right to work!

Thank you so much for your generous contributions to help us have these valuable tools to make learning more attainable. You support is very much appreciated.”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Parisi

  • Help Me to Better Understand!

    Funded Nov 29, 2022

These items have been such a great addition during instruction and learning this year! Thank you all for your generous support.

The letter tiles have been such a great addition to my daily word work where we work on phonics, prefixes, suffixes, syllables, and many other tasks. The students love to work in partners using these letter tiles to practice pronouncing, and sounding out, our new phonics focus.

The number line whiteboards and arrays have been put to good use during Math. Students can easily use the number lines during our elapsed time focus, fraction focus, and much more. The arrays allow students to grasp the concept of multiplication using these array boards.

    Thank you for your help!”

  • Read! Read! Read!

    Funded Nov 11, 2022

Thank you so much for your support to help fund this project. My students have thoroughly enjoyed all the new graphics novels donated to our 3rd grade classroom this year. The students have been reading and engaged in these books. One of the best parts of the new collection of graphic novels is that they are at various reading levels, which means all readers can enjoy a graphic novel. Graphic novels are a favorite in my classroom, but my collection did not contain many lower levels readers, but now it has many - Thanks to your generous donations and support. We thank you!”

  • Let's Multiply!

    Funded Oct 25, 2021

Thank you so much for your generous support in helping me supply multiplication flash cards to each one of my students this year. Now most of the students fluently know their multiplication facts from 1 to 12. We could not have come so far without your help.

This year we have used the flash cards in many ways; partner games, around the world games, fluency practice and much more. Using these flash cards in various fun and engaging ways have helped the students learn their facts without much effort. The excitement to engage in various activities and games, using these flashcards, has been so successful.

Thank you again for all your support.”

  • Help Us Stay "Cool"

    Funded Sep 15, 2021

Thank you very much for your generous donations to my classroom. The air conditioner has been installed and is currently being used during this spring heatwave.

Last week was a hot one in Lowell, especially since it is only early May! The students have gym first thing in the morning on Fridays. It was 85 degrees this past Friday! When the students left the classroom for gym I turned on our new air conditioner and cooled off the room while they were gone. When they walked in the room after gym, all hot and sweaty, they were so excited to feel the cool air in our classroom! The excited looks on their faces were priceless. They were able to cool down and get to work because of this new air conditioner in our classroom.

Next week looks to be another hot one and I'm not dreading it because my classroom will actually be cool! Thanks to all of you. All the students in my classroom send their thanks to you as well.”
